Welcome to our luxurious Forest House suite in St. John's! This elegant one-bedroom lower unit is perfectly situated for guests seeking comfortable and spacious accommodation. It can accommodate up to two guests, making it ideal for couples or solo travelers. Just a short walk to local attractions and only a few minutes to the heart of Downtown St. John's! Enjoy the well-equipped kitchen, relaxing living area, and modern furnishings. Ideal for a night, a week, or an extended stay!

We Host is a professional property management company based in Newfoundland! We typically answer messages between 10:30AM and 9:30PM Newfoundland time. However, we are available 24/7 by phone/text (9:30pm-10:30am urgent calls only, please)! You may find yourself speaking with any of our team members. You can contact us via your booking channel as well as replying to the welcome messages you received upon confirmation.

Located in the Historic fishing village, this property is just a 12 minute walk to Quidi Vidi village, where you can enjoy the Plantation, and Quidi Vidi Brewery. Open Seasonally, The Wharf in Quidi Vidi Village is a family-friendly outing that you can enjoy delicious food from local food trucks, as well as savor craft beer. If you like hiking, you can also appreciate the famous Sugar Loaf Path Trail, located right by Quidi Vidi Village. Also, just a 20 minute walk(5 minute drive) to the heart of downtown, where you have countless options for restaurants, the famous George Street, as well as endless number of local shops!

I was upset when I arrived to find out the unit was in the basement at the back of the house, where you would either have to carry your luggage down 23 stairs(with different landings) or down the grass covered hill on the other side of the house. This might be fine for some people, but for a 70-year-old and a 78 year-old getting your luggage to the unit using either of these methods is not ideal. I didn’t see this in the listing (picture showed the front of the house) or I would not have booked it. David was very nice and offered to come over to carry our luggage up and down, but when I asked for a refund because I had bought cancellation insurance, I was told that it was a business. Will never buy cancellation insurance again. I was shocked to come back that night to find there were no lights over the stairs outside! It was pitch black, you couldn’t see your hand in front of you. Thank goodness for the flashlight on my phone. I’m not even sure how this would pass a safety inspection? The unit itself was clean and well stocked. I don’t want to sound like a complaining customer and it has taken me 3 weeks to write this, but I felt potential renters should be warned. Especially an older person or someone with health issues or disability. Getting down to the unit could be a real safety issue.

Quiet, comfortable and convenient

Dedicated off-street parking is a big plus. The location is quiet - no noise from traffic or partying - ideal for getting some work done. The well-appointed kitchen lends to cooking. The laundry is excellent. Great overall for one person or a couple.
