I had called to make adjustments to a prior reservation. I was told it was handled and good to show up on Thursday night. Upon showing up, I stood at the front desk for 25 minutes before anyone showed up. Keep in mind, about 5 or 6 hotel associates passed by and none were able to help and only were able to say “I’m sure she will be back shortly.” When she finally came back, there was no acknowledgement of the long wait and she was rude. She confirmed everything would be connected between reservations.
The room was extremely old and the fan/light kept turning off so it was hot and stuffy in the room. I dealt with it and moved on. I went out the next morning to take care of what I needed and got back to the room around 4 only to find my keys weren’t working. Went back down to the front desk and found out they didn’t handle the reservation appropriately and now needed new keys. Got back into the room and it was hot. I decided it wasn’t even worth it at the point and just got into my car and left, making the 5 hour drive, eating the cost for the room.
I have to come back a few more times and I’ll stay literally anywhere else.
