'No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer. We stayed in a room overlooking the harbour and it was very quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the pub next door. Room was modern and very clean. The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. There were places nearby to get breakfast and is very close to a Sainsbury and M&S food (Apr26).'

'Lovely little place with nice ambience in a nice location. The breakfast and choices included in the price was great. My only one suggestion is re the sofa bed - matress is really not comfortable and too thin. Maybe at the very least a mattress topper could be used if the whole mattress cant be changed.'

'The bedroom wall showed damp spots. The bathroom was very outdated. Cobwebs hung on the window. Fortunately the sheets were clean.'

'Unfortunately the room requested was not available as we had our small dog with us so were allocated a dog friendly room which was fine but it only had a 4’6 bed which really is not expected these days. Following the downgrading of the room by the hotel and being advised that the room requested would be cheaper. The new price unfortunately was not honoured despite numerous requests for a refund so overall not the best experience.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Stanwell House Hotel. The staff are excellent, every member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 32, which was perfectly cosy with a very comfortable bed and offered lovely views. The breakfast was great—high quality and plenty of choice. My only minor note is that drinks can be quite expensive at the bar. Highly recommended for a boutique stay in Lymington!'

'Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. Good location as we were planning to catch the ferry from Lymington. Nice gardens. Very helpful staff especially Yan who was knowledgeable about the wines. Very comfortable bed and evening meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay'
