'Room was much bigger than expected (possibly an upgrade) and seemed to have been recently renovated. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included although my invoice stated room only. Apparently all rooms here include breakfast which was very good. Highlight really was the friendliness of staff which is probably because it’s an independent property and they genuinely want to make guests feel welcome. '

'This is a beautifully situated old mill on a gentle stream with gorgeous grounds. Idyllic. Just outside Lymington but a short 8 minute drive into town or to the ferry. Dinner was good with excellent service. Nice room, comfy beds, good bathroom. We were there on the hottest day of the year so it was very hot in the room but a fan was provided which helped.'

'The property was beautiful and basically in the middle of the woods so dead easy for dog walking - also and outside hose which was really handy considering how muddy it was! It was freezing when we arrived but the heating, once I figured it out was effective. Unfortunately there were no logs or kindling for the fire which would have been beautiful. 'Room was super hot, and old. Shower was rusty. The bed was the smallest and most uncomfortable bed I've slept in. No one ever available at reception. And to top it all off spent an absolute fortune for one night. Do not recommend at all.'
