'We stayed overnight with kids. Staff were amazing, so friendly, the room was super clean and spacious for a family. The whole building has such a charm! Our kids loved the heated pool, the gardens (they had a mini golf field, giant check game on the floor and a kids play area) and the local pub was walking distance. The walk to the beach was so beautiful through the chine! Oh we had such an amazing time!'

'It was clean and comfortable. The bed could have been more comfortable with a more up to date mattress but it was ok for the two nights. The only thing I would recommend is perhaps adding some extra cushions as the headboard were metal bars. This would make it far more comfortable to be able to lie in bed at night and watch the TV. The front desk people are fine but a little more enthusiasm when having a new guest to stay wouldn’t go amiss. Breakfast was great. Hot and cooked just right. Wait...

'We stayed in Haven Hall and had such a great experience there! The owner David came to greet us and showed us around his property which they renovated for 4 years prior to opening as a boutique hotel. The hotel has beautiful decor inside and a spectacular waterfront. We were asked in the evening what we wish for a breakfast on the next day and they made it exactly the way we requested. We wish we spend more days on the island and definitely would recommend this hotel for everyone who is visiting...

'If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. Alleen bier te krijgen en de bardames waren zeer onverschillig en ongeinteresseerd en vroegen tot 3 keer toe naar ID van de kinderen als ze een biertje bestelden.
