'Got transfwred to spitbank fort for no extra cost , it small with not much to do but a great pla e recommend one night stay rather than our two night as spitbabk is much smaller'

Only pity in the area is the beach adjacent to the hotel is not doggy friendly during the summer. Other than that fantastic couple of days They also run a fshuttle to the Hut restaurant, which is well worth a visit. '

'A lovely hotel in a superb location overlooking the sea. The staff went over and above on service, especially at Reception when we had a query and also at breakfast. The breakfast was really nice, with a good selection of cooked options and plenty of juice and other options. We made good use of the indoor and outdoor pool and were really lucky with the weather. We look forward to visiting the Brunswick again!'

'As a dog owner, we loved hiw dog friendly the hotel was. Lovely surroundings great staff, very clean, lovely swimming pool, the only downfall was the beds beside the pool were very hard, and we just couldn't sit on them for long, the beds in the grass area were comfortable. 'We stayed overnight with kids. Staff were amazing, so friendly, the room was super clean and spacious for a family. The whole building has such a charm! Our kids loved the heated pool, the gardens (they had a mini golf field, giant check game on the floor and a kids play area) and the local pub was walking distance. The walk to the beach was so beautiful through the chine! Oh we had such an amazing time!'

'We stayed in Haven Hall and had such a great experience there! The owner David came to greet us and showed us around his property which they renovated for 4 years prior to opening as a boutique hotel. The hotel has beautiful decor inside and a spectacular waterfront. We were asked in the evening what we wish for a breakfast on the next day and they made it exactly the way we requested. We wish we spend more days on the island and definitely would recommend this hotel for everyone who is visiting...

'If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. 'My room was comfortable though basic and the hotel is in a great location for Ryde just being minutes walk from the hovercraft and the town centre. The staff were really noce and friendly and the breakfasts were amazing! If I come to Ryde again, I would definitely stay here.'

'It was clean and comfortable. The bed could have been more comfortable with a more up to date mattress but it was ok for the two nights. The only thing I would recommend is perhaps adding some extra cushions as the headboard were metal bars. This would make it far more comfortable to be able to lie in bed at night and watch the TV. The front desk people are fine but a little more enthusiasm when having a new guest to stay wouldn’t go amiss. Breakfast was great. Hot and cooked just right. Wait...

'Value for money for our type of stay. Spacious it being what it is, you can not get this in a B&B or hotel for that price. Very central on the island which was great for us.'
