B&B in Isle of Wight

'The welcome and attention from the owners was excellent. Delightful couple and gorgeous unobtrusive dogs. The building was cold as was the room. Tepid water in the basin at night but ok for morning shower. Very good continental breakfast but dining area cold. '

'From arrival to departure Jonathan, Melissa and Magnus (The Dog) were the most wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Fat Badger Hut which was absolutely stunning, the bed was the cosiest thing ever and the room was well decorated. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The little things including the beautifully lit garden with fairy lights and water features plus our hosts hospitality was unquestionably outstanding. This was a truly perfect staycation. We will definitely be going back. '

'As a seasoned traveller and working in culinary myself, this has to be one of the best experiences in Hotel/B&B's I've ever had. Andy & Jo treat you like family from the minute you park the car, Andy greets you and insists on carrying your bags, he has a wealth of local information to assist your visit to the isle of Wight, a very polite couple who could not do enough for us. The room was impeccably clean and tidy and very spacious with an extremely comfortable bed, As for breakfast, it is...

'We had a lovely few days in this historic house. Nothing was too much for the owners and the room was so comfortable. We loved the artwork on display in all the rooms and also the old period furniture. It all had a feeling of life some 100 years ago. The gardens were extensive and so quiet. The slightly wild look added to the atmosphere of exploring a garden from bygone years that had been left to its own devices. Would we return one day? Of course we would.'

'The whole building was unique. unusual but very comfortable. We could have done with another chair in the Room.....but other than that fine. 'Mine host ' was very friendly and helpful. We had a bit of banter.'

The breakfast was great, and impressively consistent quality every morning and the location was within easy walking distant of several lovely restaurants, and other amenities. A great place to stay!'
