Absolutely loved the space, the bedroom was comfortable and clean, and gave a very homey b&b feeling. I took transit and found it fairly straightforward to get to. And its an easy walk to the Tennyson monument! Would definitely recommend!'

Only pity in the area is the beach adjacent to the hotel is not doggy friendly during the summer. Friendly, welcoming host, tasty continental breakfast - this is a very comfortable, spacious accommodation with all the amenities. The only thing I want to mention is that I wish we could drop off our bags before check-in, but I understand the situation. 'If The Ivy did hotels this is what they would be like. Beautiful decor, quirky layout and lovely hidden garden. Room felt luxurious and the bed was super comfy. We ate in the garden which was very relaxed, such a pretty setting. The breakfast was superb, eggy brioche with bacon was delicious and the continental selection was very high end. Latte and Americano coffees included which we've noticed that some hotels have started charging for - not good when you are paying a premium for your stay....
