Lovely surroundings great staff, very clean, lovely swimming pool, the only downfall was the beds beside the pool were very hard, and we just couldn't sit on them for long, the beds in the grass area were comfortable. 'We are four friends visiting for the festival and are very lucky to have found this gem of a cottage in the pretty village of Bembridge, with its charming shops and awesome eateries (Lagom for coffee and delicious brekkie, The Beach Hut for awesome seafood). The cottage, with its own parking, fab decor, very comfortable beds and private pretty garden, was a perfect base for us. Great communication with the host too - we would definitely recommend and would love to come back to do more exploring....

'Friendly and helpful receptionist. Very professional approach by not shouting out the room number but just giving the key cards - excellent. Dinner was also excellent with good service. Room very comfortable. Not much of a view but no complaints.'

'We booked 2 separate beds and got a tiny room (more like a closet) with a small double. Other option wasn't available. Room was hot, small window that didn't let much fresh air in and a small ventilator that didn't work properly. When we arrived we found a big strand of hair in the shower and the toilet looked used as well. Everyday we had to ask for something else that wasn't provided for. Bar staff was nice however.'

'If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby.
