'Great base for a holiday on the island, with nice walks to beaches, pubs and local shops near by. The accommodation is well kept and has everything someone self catering would need. The reception staff were great to deal with and really helpful. Very happy with our stay.'

'On the plus size this is a truely unique location and the people that converted this space from a dull 1970s BT building to a cool house should be applauded. It's a perfect getaway location and you're truely isolated (in a good way) but with lots of great walks and places to explore. We really enjoyed all the smuggling past nearby. Things which could be improved - this clearly was a labour of love which needs reinventing. You can feel it's all a bit tired - equipment that no longer functions,...

'The once lovingly furnished house is unfortunately no longer in very good condition and furnishings. It would need to be thoroughly cleaned and the missing dishes, kitchen utensils, etc. replaced. The chimney flue is not working properly and the pressure of the hot water pipe for showers is poor. What was most annoying was the poor cleaning: cobwebs from the ceiling, thick dust everywhere, the furniture greasy from the fireplace. There was neither a mop mob nor a vacuum cleaner to help yourself....

'The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable short stay with our children. I had a welcome text to check everything was ok, so nice to know someone was at the end of the phone should we need. Good base location situated on the grounds of The Garlic Farm and the shop, restaurant, cafe and games room all came in handy. Parking was easy too. Short drive from Ryde ferry port and Sandown beach. We also had a lovely meal at the recommended The Pointer Inn pub down the road....

'The Grain store was perfect for our stay. The access to the Red Squirrel trail was a real bonus for dog walking. Ideal location for getting out and about and very comfortable accommodation. The Peacock wandering around was a surprise! '
