'Good news first- The food and the restaurant were good. The bartender- she was very good. The front desk guy looked overwhelmed and did the best he could. He gets a thumbs up. Hot tub nice and big. Bad- the area outside- sketchy- although the hotel had the foresight to hire a security guard- saw deals going down just outside his view in the parking lot. Found a bug in my room. Sheets were clean but obviously reused- wine stains. Sticky food residue on carpet beside the bed. Thermostat did not...

'We stayed here late at night while passing through and booked 3 rooms for our group. All we needed was a decent place to sleep before continuing our drive in the morning, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. As soon as we opened the room door, we noticed the suite door did not close properly. There were visible gaps around the door and the deadbolt would not latch securely. The room also had a smoky, musty smell upon entering, although it appeared clean at first...

'Older hotel well kept up. We found the room small but very clean. Near an exit so easy for our dog to get out when needed. Easy to find food, hotel is located right in the middle of everything in a busy part of Thunder Bay. Nice and quiet. Good breakfast. Easy to get in and out of'

'They do not provide nor do they tell you towel service, and bed are not done changed daily. I had To call for fresh towels, and toilet paper. Hotel itself is new and room as clean. Staff was very friendly. I would stay there again'

'Spacious rooms but noisy. Airco does it's work but sounds like a F-16 engine. Kingsize and room with queens: both very hard matras. Staff friendly and helpfull (as your bathroom door is (b)locked from the outside ... and forgood diner suggestions). Continental breakfast good. '

'The place was sketchy had to go up metal stairs in the dark to get to our room, when entering can see someone broke in before. Bathroom door has been locked and frame broken. The phone in room had no cord to it. The tub dripped all night and the beds felt so old and worn down. Overall not a good experience'

'This is a cute boutique hotel. My spouse and myself used to work for the US Court System, so we just had to stay here. That being said, it is very difficult and cumbersome to get your luggage into the hotel - there is no ramp or elevator into the building. There are only stairs into the property - definitely not for special needs people. There are also basically no amenities, there is a gym (which we did not use) and a drink vending machine, that is it besides breakfast. I can understand this is...
