When we first walked up to the door of the condo, the screen door was broken. The screen was coming out of the frame and the frame was bent. The paint was chipping on the door to the condo. Inside the condo, we also had issues. The lights were not working properly, the dvd player in the master bedroom didn't work, the remote didn't work in the master bedroom, when you used the tub in the second bathroom it did not drain properly so you were standing in water during your shower, the couch was extremely uncomfortable. Three of us tried to watch a movie and it completely sunk in the middle. With the property outside of the condo, we also ran into issues. It was a chiller week and for one full day, the hot tub was freezing and did not have hot water, we tried to cook on the grill and the burners were completely rusted, plus it took a lot longer for it to cook our food. There was a rec room advertised with a ping pong table. There was one ball and then you could buy balls from the vending machine for $.75.We tried to buy more because someone took/broke the one ball and the vending machine was broken. Again, it was a chilly week so this was one thing my kids could have done but were not able to. The customer service with Plumlee was not impressive. When we called about the rec room, the Plumlee representative quickly told us they do not handle the property outside the condo and gave us a number (the first we were given was not even correct). As a vacationer, I strongly believe that the two managing companies should work together and not expect the customer to be calling around to figure out how to get something fixed. She hung up the phone and didn't ask how she could help. We did call the managing company for the property and never received a phone call back and the vending machine was still broken until the day we left. The Plumlee representatives were not extremely helpful in providing information when we were in the office. Example, is that when we came in on a Saturday, we asked about renting chairs and were told we could rent them at any time. When we went back on Monday to rent them, we were asked if we reserved them because they had limited supply. Never mentioned on Saturday when we asked. They also didn't have much to provide or did not direct us when asked about things to do during a colder week. Small details add up and really can make a difference in an experience. We will not come back and unfortunately ended up leaving early.
