I have vacationed with Resort Rentals for many years. This year was different, I felt as though I was lied to and deceived when I asked multiple times about the red tide. I got replies such as, "I don't smell it today'" or "I'm not sure I don't go to the beach," or "it could be gone tomorrow," its been in Treasure Island for weeks before. When we arrived at Lands End, we were greeted with a packed pool with no seating and people reserving chairs. Due to the red tide and the over crowded pool we left the complex every single day trying to find something for our family to do. In my opinion, it was a waste of time and money, I could have stayed somewhere different for alot less of made different arrangements. It felt as though Resort Rentals main concern was getting my family there just to take our money and less concerned with the health and safety of my family. I purchased travel insurance and would like to pursue getting my funds returned to me on the grounds of a public health hazard and not being able to utilize Lands End's amenities. I am disappointed with Resort Rentals lack of compassion for another persons health and safety. The security guard, stated that the beach was cleaned all the time, 24/7 which again was a lie, dead fish and a sickening smell 24/ 7. So much that my family experienced issues breathing, couch, runny eyes, irritated lungs and headaches, every day. Resort Rentals displayed horrible customer service and professionalism. Lastly, due to leaving Lands End daily we incurred higher costs and financial stress that was unnecessary if Resort Rentals cared more about people than money.
