Word wakker aan de oevers van de Intracoastal Waterway wanneer je ontsnapt naar dit hondvriendelijke huis aan het water in Indian Rocks Beach! Je hebt een ruime tuin, een steiger en een groot dok direct aan het water, evenals zes fietsen en 2 kajaks om je te helpen je omgeving te verkennen! Deze woning met airconditioning biedt ook een serre met uitzicht op het water, een gas grill en hangmatten en ligstoelen om u thuis te verwelkomen!

Wat is in de buurt:
Dit huis is in 2011 prachtig gerenoveerd en ligt op 800 meter ten oosten van het strand Indian Rocks Beach. Je bevindt je op 800 meter van een toegangspunt aan het strand op 12th Avenue, zodat je je dagen kunt doorbrengen met zonnebaden, strandkammen en zwemmen in de Golf van Mexico. Dit huis ligt ook 1,6 km ten noordoosten van prachtige ochtend- en avondwandelingen langs de promenades van Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve.

Lodging at best

Old home that needs lots of TLC and investment int he property. It’s a nice bay view but the dock is not boat friendly and the lift is not accessible for guest (even though I asked first , it was miscommunicated)we had to take the boat off the lift it was a 22 ft boat , the only reason I choose this place was to have our boat on the water during our trip . No provided activities for kids or young adults such as board games . It’s a half mile walk from the beach but make sure your bring your own beach amenities to include chairs , beach towels , umbrella, etc and a way to get them there if you are asking . The house supplies a place to cook and sleep that’s it . The beds are hard and very old , in fact the king mattresses are two twin mattresses that you can feel the middle and one of them the one side depresses lower leaving a gap . Would not stay here again , not a very good short get away stay , we were here for 5 nights , not enough towels and no way to wash them since you can’t use the washing machine unless you stay for 2 weeks .

Only Positive is the Location

The location is amazing. The house is, not so much. They dont provide enough towels and you cant use the washer and dryer unless you stay for two weeks. The house smells old, like a museum because nothing has been updated. Its a corporate run home so expect to be nickled and dimed. They painted the walls and added wifi thats about it.

The house is older but very clean and good size. The location is wonderful. The sun porch is very nice and the dock is too. We enjoyed sunrise and sunset each day!

All about the location

Quirky little house in a great location. Stayed here with my teenage son and parents for spring break. Enjoyed watching the sun rise every morning off the intercoastal. Couple block walk to restaurants and beach. While the house is older, it was spacious, clean, and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. Management company was super easy to get in contact with on the few questions we had.

This house needed repair and updating. The location on the intercoastal waterway was wonderful . We made the best of it and had a wonderful family visit. Vacasa customer service was excellent

The dirtiest place ever

Dirty sheets, dog poop on sofa, dog pee on sofa, floors, curtains and carpet. The floor was sinking in and we were scared to walk in the back part of the house. Shower was plugged up and a cold shower every night but one. Spent 3 days with maid's, steam cleaners, and plumbers coming in and out. The place smelled really bad. They said they missed the cleaning before we checked in but you could tell the home hadn't been cleaned for a while. They refunded some money but the place isn't even worth paying a dollar.

Air did not work from day one in the Florida room. We ended up putting blankets in the doorway to keep out the heat from the rest of the house. This kept us from seeing the water outside of the windows because we had to close the blinds to keep the heat out.

Mom's 90th Birthday

Everything was wonderful. We wanted a property on the water with limited steps because Mom has trouble with mobility. Big rooms to visit in and nice seating out back to enjoy the breeze and intercoastal waterway. Saw dolphins every day.

location is the best part of property

This house had an excellent location, however the property is in need of a total remodel. 10 different floors in house, & we had to scout the backyard & pick up several piles of poo, before we could let our dog out. 2 of the beds are hard as a rock!

Old Florida Charm

Great to have the kayaks, to paddle around the bay, fun fishing off the dock. If you are the types that enjoy hanging out in the yard and enjoying all the natural beauty the intercostal has to offer, this is your place! Grill was readily available and the kitchen was well stocked. Only time we spent inside was sleeping! Comfy beds with all you need to have a laidback vacation. I grew up on IRB so this was the perfect place for us.

Sailing Friends Stayed During A Regatta

The property location was as advertised. It is on the intercoastal. There is a dock. All the equipment was present. Indian Rocks beach is a lovely low-key community. The house is within easy walking distance of the gulf beach as well. There are plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. A family would have lots of fun there. But please keep in mind that the place is NOT in new condition. If you don't care that the house is showing its age and the wood floors are coming lose in places, you will love it. If you are relaxed when you get there, you will be even more relaxed when you leave. But if you need things to be PERFECT, this isn't the place for you.

Ease of access; lots to do; plenty of space

Thanks for providing a place with so many options for fun things to do. Private and quiet as well. Some bikes do need repairs. Main restroom could use some updating. But all in all, provisions allowed us to be self sufficient and the place worked as a great getaway for us and our adult kids.

This house should not be pet friendly

Rented this house last week property says pet friendly well after booking charged me extra for my dog after getting the home we realize the neighbor has a pet rescue and has many Vicious dogs my wife was attacked by one of them and bitten on her arm and my 13 year old lab whom can barley move was bitten threw the lip I’ve contacted a lawyer and plan to file a lawsuit on the owners and the neighbor

House on Indian Rocks Beach

House is in a great location. Beautiful view from the back with nice dock. The inside need up dating and a few repairs. The oven either doesn’t work, or I just couldn’t figure out how to set it. The bathroom off the master bedroom is so small that my husband refused to shower in it -we didn’t even use the sink. He is 6 feet tall and 150 lbs. very skinny. Other bath is ok. Bedrooms are nice - spare blankets had a sour smell and I had to launder them. The floors were dirty. Hard wood, nice looking, looked clean - swept? I found beer caps under the chair and my feet were filthy after walking bare footed through the house. We had our little Havanese/Lasso mix dog and our chocolate lab with us. Both are non barkers and gentle older dogs. The dogs to the east are very aggressive and I had to leash both dogs in order to take them out in the morning and night so that they would not go near the open barred fence dividing the yards. .My little dog could have fit between the bars. They are VERY AGGRESSIVE. This was not our first choice, and is really large enough for a large family or several couples going in together. I wouldn’t choose the house again, but it is a good choice for a large family with kids. We are from Indian Rocks, my husband had a business on the beach for 30 years so we always look for a place in “the hood” so to speak. Next year we will look sooner and stay in a smaller residence for less money.
