'We had a great time at Kankarwa haveli. It is very well located, has a beautiful view on the lake to admire the sun set and the staff and service is very friendly. 'First of all the approach road to Zana Lake Resort is horrible. The concept of hotel is different. There is no reception. I called from the room phone intercom to reach the person who checked us in . I tried since early morning till noon. No response. I felt its unsafe when there is no contact with anyone for any need. No mini fridge or ice. No Other activities in the resort area except swimming pool. It's built in remote village area without building infrastructure. I paid $162.21 (13380 Rs)....

'A great find and conviently located. The gentleman on reception was great throughout my stay, very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was a good size with lots of old period furnishings. Large comfy bed and a fan heater provided. AC worked well too though being the cooler months use of fan heater was needed. Large bathroom with good hot water shower. Located within walking distance to the Palace entrance gate and plenty of resturants nearby. Would definately recomend and stay here...

'Our family of four spent three nights at the Hotel Aashiya Haveli! We loved it there. The location is great, in the heart of where you want to stay (Lal Ghat) and there’s a great view of the lake from the roof. The room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. Overall, it was very mellow and pleasant. Sometimes it was a little hard to find staff but that was never a big issue.'
