'It was a really nice hotel, close to the underground station Wembley Park ( 5 min walk). The personnel is very friendly and also very helpful. We were too early for check in. Apart from that we could store our luggage, they checked and switched us to a different room so we could already get into our room. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is really good and extensive, in the weekend even een hour longer untill 11. The only small downside was that the sofa bed was really hard. '

"Loved it. The gym, the staff at reception, the wonderful breakfast and the room. I changed rooms as the first one was for physically challenged persons so went to a smaller room and it perfectly fit.
As it is a complex where people actually stay long(er) term, It is very quiet during the day but at night you tend to here more sound as everyone is ‘at home’.
I would pick this again next time just for the facilities and people (Monica ❤️ and Leo 🚀). Areawise it is not the most exciting area of London. Although the recently nominated number 1 gastro-pub The Pelican is around the corner !

"The way my friends/customers were treated at check in by this hotel is just criminal. AND the very worst thing is that this Marriott Regents Park plays this trick on many customers.
The reservation had been made and payment was to be made at the hotel. After a stressful journey, the family arrived at the hotel. Check in and rested briefly in the room, before they were to see London for the first time. However, no key before payment was in order. Fine, however, their bank cards would not work, the receptionist informed them. "You guys should just contact your bank"
They did this and their bank assured them that everything was fine with the credit and debit cards and that no payment had been attempted from a Marriott in the UK. Strange.
The receptionist then forced them to withdraw money from the ATM in the lobby, which, due to a very bad exchange rate, made them pay €200 more for 3 hotel nights than stated on the booking confirmation. And they pull this trick on as many guests as possible. Without any excuse or compensation. So think carefully before booking this hotel! And if you do, don't be fooled.
