'trash bin was broken, AC was broken, the doorbell was broken, the dishwasher was broken, 1 curtain almost broke cause it was very loose. we had a power cut and called the service, they did not help. said they contacted the "technical team" there was never a technical team. the day after power was still out and the technical team did not come. no warm water, no lights, nothing. it looks fancy and all, but dont be fooled.'

'Voor onze citytrip Brussel van 2 dagen hebben wij met veel plezier van het appartement gebruik gemaakt. Van te voren al contact en overleg over aankomsttijd. Heel fijn. Appartement is in een mooi hoog herenhuis en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor je ontbijt en avondeten. Parkeren kan in een eigen garage. Alles is op loopafstand. Oa. Supermarkt . 'The flat was well situated. The area around the entrance was messy and I was sent two different entrance codes, first one which I printed and brought, then another which I saw, when I failed to enter with the first one. So I took some time entering. The place itself was quite worn, with tapestries coming off, in need of paint, and it didn't have the exclusive look and feel from the photos. The sink was leaking in the bathroom. It was clean, though and quiet during the night. '

'De accommodatie was bij binnenkomst hoed gelegen en schoon. Maar we keamrn om 5 uur aan bij de accommodatie en alles liep vlot. Tot we de verwarming wilde aan zetten want het was behoorlijk koud afgelopen weekend. We hadden hem aangezet maar hij werkte niet samen met warm water. Dus geen verwarming en geen warm water. 'This property should be rented out. The hosts were nice but the property had a lot of issues. The TV is present but has no cable or anything connected to it… the plumbing was horrible in the shower, sink (the hosts came by and removed the filter which fixed that one), and the bathroom. 'The only positive thing was the location. Part of the promised stuff was not there (no kitchen linnen e.g.) Even no mirror in the bathroon and no hot water for more then half of the stay of 4 days. Communication aboit that was really poor. The telephone which we could use was out of reach. Very smart?? No, one of the poorest stays we ever had!'

'It was a very convenient location, but it was very noisy if windows were opened, they do not have AC in the unit, shower head was broken, drainage in showers not fast enough even though the water pressure is low, toilet seats do not align well. Very stinky when I first opened the bathroom door, it felt like someone boomed the bathroom before we arrived. Pillows smelt really bad like old moldy sweat smell, but the sheets and pillows covers were very clean. It is a walk up building, do not choose...

'Made a reservation for an apartment with 4 single beds. Upon arrival this appeared to be a "special request" which couldn't be accommodated. 'The best part it had a washing machine. Worst part on technically 3rd floor, no elevator, very narrow staircase barely wide enough to carry a small suitcase. I ended falling climbing up because my suitcase got cought up on the bannister. The floor was not very clean and the linnens and bedsheets smelled like mildew. It was about 20 minutes on the bus from Brussels central but the busses are not very regular. I stayed there for a week.'

A day beforehand, it was mentioned the apartment had a shower problem, so they 'upgraded' us to a much more spacious apartment in the same house.
