'Great little motel for our one night stay!'

'When arriving at the hotel, it was obvious that the state and condition of the hotel was not like the pictures online represented. It is rundown and alittle sketchy looking from the outside. After we checked in we entered our room to be greeted by a dead roach in the bathroom. We booked using a 3rd party service. 'Really did not like front desk assistance. I had reserved a non smoking room. When we opened door it smelled like cigarettes. Also, smelled musty. Air was not on when we came in. Old shop pieces from previous client. No trash cans to place trash in. Not sure what kind of breakfast was served. No juice or coffee machine that was working. 'They clearly tried their best to renovate. I had a very pleasant first impression. Easy parking, warm welcome, clean room. Until I settled and wanted to start the tv. That’s when I went for the remote and saw the first roaches. Killed them. Both smaller and bigger ones. Searched the room and bathroom. Didn’t find any other. When we got to the hotel, there were some minor cleanliness issues that I chose to ignore because it was a late night when we checked in and we were tired from driving. First there was a hair on a towel, the Kleenex box looked like it was dipped in water, and there was a rusted hole in the bath tub. 'Super clean hotel, rooms, and property. Great stay for our three nights. BUT, at check in, they charged $100 security deposit in case you smoke in the room. I have stayed at multiple La Quintas, and have never had to pay that. Plus, there is nothing online that says you will be charged that upon check in. Make sure you have enough money or you will have your room canceled!'

'No breakfast just bagels and ceral. Front staff were not friendly. Depositn was taken and said its be return the next day, when asming the frontndesk again upon checking out they said they didnt know when i would get it back. Walls are thin hard to sleep, you can hear everything happening in the next room and hallways. Wont stay here again. There is nicer and cheaper thag comes with breakfast and thicker walls. Disappointed with my stay.'
