'From the moment this was booked, it’s been a 5-star experience. The lodge was exactly what we needed to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking scenery, and being so dog friendly really was a bonus. 'We stayed here for two nights and felt cosy even in the storm which started the night we checked in. I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. 'De lodge was schoon, netjes en alles wat je nodig hebt voor een fijne vakantie is aanwezig. De omgeving is wat saai maar als je op pad gaat is het een prima uitvalsbasis. Het enige grote minpunt waren de eenpersoonsbedden. De matrassen zijn/waren echt te slecht om behoorlijk op te kunnen slapen. Die van het 2 persoonsbed is prime. Het contact met de eigenaar was heel goed en hij heeft de feedback ter harte genomen en zou er naar gaan kijken. '

'We stayed in The Barn for a couple of nights, a wonderful house , very comfortable, plenty of space. It was a little cold, and did take a while to heat up after we turned the heat on. One thing to note, there are no instructions on how to use the beautiful Falcon stove. Maybe a simple sign in the kitchen , with the basic instructions please, for those like us who have no experience with this type of stove.'
