'I have stayed at numerous Best Western hotels and this location is definitely nicer than a lot of others. You can see the interior of the hotel has been updated recently. Very nice breakfast area and outdoor patio. Great, walkable location. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap in the room. And replace coffee makers with Keurig's. We very much enjoyed this hotel and will stay here again when in the area. '

The only complaint the both of us had, was that the mattress was not very comfortable and the bed frame squeaked excessively. Whenever one of us would move or roll over while we were sleeping, it would wake the other person up'

'The hotel is well maintained & very beautiful. The bed & pillows were very comfortable, and the linens very soft. Parking is free & in a garage attached to the hotel. The food in the Scarlet restaurant was delicious. After dinner we walked around downtown Red Wing & along the waterfront. Red Wing is a pretty town.'

Breakfast was a nice touch with the omelette maker with choice of ham or sausage and cheese to top it, we would definitely stay on our next trip to the area. We also liked the town and walked to the park for music.'
