'Behind the black iron door there is a lovely well equipped cottage. The best thing is that it is right in the middle of Cheadle and at the same time a quite retreat, the best of both. We are not the absolute nature lovers, but made trips tot Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Close enough for a days visit. But we explored the Peak district as well. We did Buxton and Ashbourne and Leek too. We find the cottage very cosy. We didn’t miss a thing. Everything was there, including good Wifi.'

'I live near Southampton and run a company based near Stoke and this is my favourite perch; the kitchen lets me eat normally as I tend to keep strange hours. Just right size and facilities for me. Could just as well be a perch for a countryside break. Highly recommended '

'Wonderful cottage, a perfect size for our family of 4. The accommodation is on a working farm but was quiet throughout with lovely gardens. Alton Towers was a short drive away as well as sports for hiking / nature. '

'Het verblijf was zeer aangenaam! Het huisje was schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien en een fijn plek om ‘thuis’ te komen na een lange dag in een schitterende omgeving. De meer dan vriendelijke host (Inez) kwam met een hele lijst aan activiteiten en in het huisje is er veel documentatie te vinden over de omgeving. Een aanrader, wij hebben er een leuke tijd gehad!'
