'AC did not work but the fan worked. Some of the furniture was worn or broken. But overall, for Mexico, and especially Yelapa where there are limited amenities, it was fairly good. The staff were helpful, especially Ismar, who spoke some English. As my Spanish is poor I was grateful for that!'

'Fun pools. My kids loved the little pool with the slide. The rooms are big but a little outdated. Staff was overall good. The main issue is the food. It is terrible and we ate out sometimes to avoid the food. No poolside snacks which is hard with little kids/ it’s nice to sit on your lounge chair and be able to order food. The pool drinks were good and the bartenders were really nice. We had a nice time but the food is a major issue.'

'Breakfast included seasonal fresh fruit and juice and was a nice way to start the day. The hot tub was lukewarm which was actually a perfect temperature as the weather was hot (!!) and a lukewarm dip was most refreshing! '
