The day we were at the pool, the cafe was closed. If you go to the pool, go early. If you wait, there may not be any chairs. We had to rent a cabana. Definitely not worth the money. 'Great, classical hotel if you wanna be in the heart of La Jolla for shops, dinners, and walking down to the ocean. Staff was helpful and friendly grounds were well-maintained. Personally I like to be outside of the hustle a little more but that’s just my taste.'
