Luxe lodge ligt idyllisch aan de rand van een kleine boerderij

Laggansally Lodge ligt in een rustige, landelijke locatie tussen Portpatrick en Stranraer, zorgt voor een totale afzondering voor wie op zoek naar de geneugten van de Rhins of Galloway te verkennen. Stranden, vuurtorens, golfbanen en gerenommeerde tuinen genieten van een bijzonder mild klimaat, gelukkig vrij Midge gratis. Wildlife watchers, wandelaars en fietsers zijn in voor een traktatie! Mogelijkheden om proberen je hand op zowel zoet-en zeevisserij in overvloed.

Laggansally is een nieuw gebouwde ruime bungalow met comfortabele uitstekende kwaliteit meubels en alles wat je nodig hebt om te genieten van een thuis weg van huis, plus dat beetje meer. Wij bieden alles, van luxe beddengoed en handdoeken aan hout voor de houtkachel. Het huis is warm met olie gestookte centrale verwarming en een moderne Rayburn. Een uitgestrekte gazon aan de voorzijde van het huis, het wild vijver (omheind voor kleuters), en bossen aanpak samen met voldoende parkeergelegenheid te garanderen totale privacy. Onze kleine boerderij ligt op minder dan een halve mijl afstand - dwalen over en voldoen aan de menagerie!

Joanna was a wonderful host who made us feel like we were at home away from home. The property is lovely and peaceful, perfect for a quiet Christmas. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything you could need! The wood burner in the livingroom made for a really cosy atmosphere. We will definitely be back again!

We had a fabulous two weeks at Laggansally. The house was spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed and more. The kitchen was very well equipped and the table was ideal as it was big enough for a 2000 piece jigsaw whilst still leaving plenty of room for four of us to eat / play games. Two good sized sofas in the lounge gave us plenty of space to spread out if we were watching tv although most of the time we were out and about or playing games. The location of the cottage was perfect for us - we like it quiet - so the long track to the house and big open garden were a boon. Anyone who loves wildlife can enjoy watching the bunnies, deer, toads ( or frogs?🤔), birds of prey from the window. Or have a wander up the track to the farm and meet the four legged and two legged residents there! Joanna and Andy are lovely and made us feel so welcome without being intrusive. The area is beautiful with plenty of walks and beaches. There are supermarkets in Stranraer (about 5 miles away) for stocking up, and Portpatrick has some lovely pubs if you fancy a meal out. We have stayed in a lot of holiday homes over the years and Laggansally is definitely up there in the top 3, possibly even top spot! We will definitely be back. ❤️❤️

A beautiful location, plenty of walks and only a short drive to amazing beaches and places to eat. The house has everything you need if you don’t want to venture out. A lovely part of the world with lots to see. I would definitely go back ..

Just back from a 5 day stay at Lagansally, the location is excellent and the Lodge has everything you need. The garden is large and our dog loved the large open space to run about in. Joanne keeps you well-informed prior to arriving, on arrival and departure, would definitely stay here again with more of the family

Beautiful place. Superbly equipped for a family or even two families. The Lodge is wonderfully remote (up a long track) whilst still being close enough to the facilities of Stranraer. Joanna was a pleasure to deal with.

We had a great week at the cottage. Owners were very friendly, helpful with great communication. Cottage was spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped. Surrounding views were lovely with lots of wildlife on show. The cottage is only a short drive to both Stranraer and Portpatrick. If in the area again would definitely book and stay at the cottage.

We have had a wonderful week away at this property. Joanna was a fantastic host and the accommodation was better than described! Beautifully clean and spacious, and the surrounding views were incredible. It’s about 15 minutes to Stranraer and a car is essential! Definitely recommended and we will definitely be returning.

The property is exactly as advertised. So central to explore Dumfries and Galloway. The house has literally everything you need even down to abundant cooking implements, lots of towels and such lovely touches it feels like home from home. The beds are lovely and comfortable. The owner of the property is on hand if you need anything and is so helpful but does not crowd you. We didn't want to leave I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Property was very clean, homely and well equipped. Really comfortable beds. Beautiful views with lots of farm animals and wildlife around. Regularly saw buzzards and deer. Also saw a fox one morning. Kids and dog loved the freedom around the gardens. Lots of nice places to visit nearby.

Feels isolated but only 5 miles to Stranraer. Has everything you need for a 'get away from it all' holiday in the country but close to great beaches.

We had a great week staying at Laggansally. The house was wonderfully welcoming, cosy and spotlessly clean. It was also beautifully presented and excellently equipped particularly in the kitchen since I enjoy cooking. The location was ideal, hitting a lot of buttons for quiet and rural, so it felt like a great escape from the city but also near to the shops and the beautiful coastline and scenery. We had a really super week and many thanks to the host, Dawn

A wonderful place to get away from it all. Up the farm track to your very own hide-away. When you enter, you walk through the utility room to a large and wonderfully well equipped kitchen/lounge. I have never before been in a holiday let that had a range and Le Creuset kitchenware! There is plenty of space for six people to sit around the kitchen table. The two sofas in the lounge area can easily accommodate the same number and have the wood-burner as a focal point; a nice touch to keep the edge off the autumn evenings. We really enjoyed our stay and I feel sure we will be heading back there soon.

wonderful holiday house extremely comfortable beautiful view from every window from a dramatic storm to birds ,rabbits and deer aplenty . wood burner makes for perfect evenings.
