'A perfect week in a peaceful location. The cottage is lovely. Well equipped, clean, good wifi, and lots of communal space for gathering, inside and out (and an amazing DVD collection according to our film buff family member!). Games room and table tennis were great fun in an evening and the large dining table perfect for board games as well as eating. 'Lovely clean caravan on a quiet very well kept site. Lots to see and do around the area, we had a fantastic 3 night stay. Lounge area spacious and double bed very comfy. Only thing I would say is that the twin beds are small my teenagers were too big to get comfy, would be OK for younger children.'

'A very comfortable and warm house,we all enjoyed ourselves,4 adults and the dogs!Joan and her husband were very friendly,we were welcomed by Joan on our arrival.It was hsrd to.leave as we were settled and comfortable. 'House is very well designed and furnished to a very high standard and us only a 10 minute walk from the village and 5 minute walk to the golf course. The views from the decking area are beautiful. We were met by our host Kate who could not have been more helpful. Lots of beautiful walks with breath taking scenery.'

'Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!'

'Thank you so much for staying at your lovely house. We had a wonderfull week with very nice weather. The house has great views. The house was clean and fully equiped. The beds were very good. It is so peacefull and relaxing. The view on the sea is very nice. We have seen several deers in front of the house. There is so kuch to do in the surroundings. I hope we may come back sometime. 'Joanna was a wonderful host who made us feel like we were at home away from home. The property is lovely and peaceful, perfect for a quiet Christmas. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything you could need! The wood burner in the livingroom made for a really cosy atmosphere. We will definitely be back again! '

'Really away from it all location which made travel a bit longer but so worthwhile. Large comfortable warm lodge with loads of stuff for young kids, masses of space inside and out and brilliant old style bedrooms. Lovely, helpful available onsite housekeepers. Great trip, totally worth the drive.'

'Graham, our host, has built the perfect holiday cottage. Well planned, amazingly well equiped. This is by far the best self catering property that we've ever stayed in, and they've been many in New Zealand, France, Italy, Britain and the Scotland. The amount of wildlife in the area is wonderful. An added bonus, is the house is close to everywhere you'd want to visit but also out of traffic and flight paths.'
