'Overall the stay was great. Staff is wonderful and the restaurant bar is our favorite stop for drinks before heading off to plays. We have used this property before and the location can not be beaten. My only issue is there was a hold for the full stay amount plus an additional $200 for room charges. Then on check out we were charged the room rate amount. It has now been 7+ days and the fairly large hold is still pending. It is frustrating to have to review and confirm the amount is still not...

'The property was very close to Stratford’s Avon Theater and to restaurants. The hostess was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were good, healthy and presented well. The property is aging and our room was quite small. Overall a pleasant experience!'

'Checkin proces without a physical reception is cumbersome and not clear. Many messages are to be interchanged and upon the notification that check-in authorization would be disclosed 48 hours in advance, only on the arrival day itself at 3 PM an email was sent. In addition, we have been charged twice for the parking lot, whereas it was made clear we brought one car while having booked two rooms.'

'We've stayed here twice, and will again. The first time we had a very small room, but at a recent stay the room was huge. The bathroom was European tiny, and no counter or even sinktop room to put anything. Still, it was clean and just fine. The location is perfect, and the staff is better than perfect—helpful, kind, and knew how to take care of business (including running outside to stop a parking cop from giving us a ticket as we were leaving and loading up).'

'This is a small private motel located Lin the countryside approximately 2 miles away from downtown Stratford. It is extremely quiet with a secluded pool that is warm and inviting with a comfortable water temperature. The rooms are reasonably large with all modern amenities, including large, flat screen TVs, refrigerators and Kurtis coffee machines. Though the building dates from an earlier time it has been meticulously maintained and the staff is dedicated to the comfort, quiet and privacy...

'This property is extremely outdated with little modernization. The room is small with outdated furniture, although the mattress was good. The room door only had a handle lock which opened with an actual key - no deadbolt or other locking feature. The auxiliary entrances were not locked or secured in any manner. Check-in took 20 minutes with a clerk who struggled with understanding 3 people checking in with 2 separate reservations. I am unclear if language was the barrier or if it was...

'No staff on site. Room code didn't work, number to call only went to voice mail. Managed to get someone on the line to remote open our room door. There was no available restaurant or lounge on site. Screaming kids on our floor. No one at checkout to talk to. Room was very nice, but no service to speak of.'
