Luxe koetshuis, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cotswolds.

Aan de rand van het bruisende stadje Stratford kunt u ontspannen in het dorp Tiddington. Op slechts 1,2 km (25 min. Lopen) van Stratford biedt Tiddington rust aan het einde van een drukke dag. Het dorp heeft geweldige voorzieningen, waaronder een dorpscafé, een supermarkt en diverse restaurants.

Fernleigh Coach House werd gebouwd in 1882 maar in 2012 omgebouwd volgens de hoogste normen. Het behoudt zichtbare balken en muren, versterkt met kalksteen en eikenhouten vloeren.

Er is een lichte en luchtige keuken met handgeschilderde shaker-eenheden en openslaande deuren naar een zonnig terras.

Een woonkamer met bakstenen muur en balken met stabiele deur om de zon naar binnen te laten stromen.

Een doucheruimte beneden betegeld met kalksteen met dubbele douche.

Trap leidt naar de eerste verdieping slaapkamer met een tweepersoonsbed en Franse deuren met Juliet balkon met uitzicht op de tuin.

Buiten is er een ruime privépatio en parterre-tuin waar u buiten kunt dineren. De vrijstaande woning is gelegen op het terrein van de woning van de eigenaar, met toegang via een grindpad.

Stratford is slechts een korte rit of wandeling, maar in het dorp kunt u ontspannen en genieten van lekker eten en bier in de plaatselijke pub, deli / tapasbar of restaurants, er is ook een goed gevulde dorpswinkel.

Small but perfectly formed

The accommodation provided everything we needed for our break. Garden and terrace were lovely, bottle of Prosecco on our arrival was a thoughtful touch. Host had a wealth of information about the area and ideas of places to visit, this was much appreciated, Karin even sent a draft of information she is compiling to send out to guests. Village itself has a lot of amenities, local pub and places to eat as well as a large Spar, with very friendly staff. As stated there is designated parking outside the Coach House, but we managed to get parked on the street every day, even if it was further down the street. Stratford is only a 30 minute walk away which was fine for us, we did use the water taxi as well, which we really enjoyed, a relaxing way to travel. Great property, lovely area, we would definitely recommend.

Excellent character holiday let.Renovated to a high standard. Owner very pleasant and helpful. Would happily return another time.No car parking on site . i am minded to say due to fairly steep staircase and limited space on first floor could be a difficulty for someone with mobility issues.

Small but perfectly formed!

This very chic and stylish coach house is in the perfect location to explore Stratford Upon Avon and the surrounding areas. Stratford is about a 30min walk which we did most days. The accommodation was exactly as described. Full marks for style, function and cleanliness. The Spa store just a few doors away is very convenient for picking up essentials for the stay, although our thoughtful host had left us coffee, tea, milk and even a bottle of wine! There is also a pub, and 3 restaurants all within a few steps of the coach house. Everything was provided to make our stay extremely enjoyable. I can't think of a way that it could have been improved. We highly recommend the Coach House to anyone visiting the area.

Very nice stay in Tiddington

My husband and I had a very nice time staying at the carriage house in Tiddington. It was perfect for the two of us and Matt and Karin were very welcoming. It was a short distance to Stratford Upon Avon which we walked to even when it was raining. I would definitely stay there again if we go back.

Perfect for a couple

The property was exactly as advertised and well equipped. It was lovely and cosy, in a great location for Stratford-upon-Avon. We managed to find parking on side streets the whole time we were there, so that shouldn't put anyone off.
