'Room wasn't vacuumed properly and the towels were discolored. Someone also left a half empty bottle of water in the room.'

'I was forced to leave the hotel after six nights. I felt quite at home. I would definitely come back. The tea is awesome. In the room, there were some minor flaws but the staff were overwhelming welcoming from day 1 to the end. It is a hotel I would recommend especially if you are looking for a jacuzzi. I love the fireplace as well. It would be perfect to have the jacuzzi face the TV but cant have everything.'

'There was no breakfast (even though it was advertised) we had a jacuzzi tub room but there was hardly any soap, only stuff for the shower. Pool closed early. Furniture in the room was stained and pretty dingy. '

'We booked this for our mini honeymoon the three nights following our wedding (end of Sept) and were excited to stay in the King Suite. But ended up being quite disappointed. The room was very cold with no heat and the front desk person wasn't the nicest when we asked for extra blankets. We weren't expecting the red carpet but at least a "thanks so much for choosing to stay here for your honeymoon". Some of the staff were great but generally no one cared that we had chose Dalvay for our honeymoon...

'Extremely friendly staff who really took the time to show all the areas of the house and where complementary food and drinks can be found, day and night (coffee/tea) or sodas for a small fee. Great hospitality. Room was good. Clean and with all the necessities. Breakfast was great and plenty of choices. Would recommend this location. '

'The hotel is convenient to visit Charlottetown with the car, located in the commercial street outside downtown but not far. Room spatious, well equipped and quiet. The continental breakfast is included but like mos american hotel chains, self service with plastic-throw-away china which for us europeans is seen very primitive and improvised. The staff at the hotel were very helful and efficient as they organised shipment of the bag that we forgot in the hotel, many thanks for that extra service!'

'Arrived on a busy weekend with kids tournaments and all that goes with. Requested a quiet room and was given a nice corner view room that was quiet. Thanks Farah. This is an older hotel that has been well renovated and obviously well run. Breakfast was excellent. Will stay again. '

'Overall good place to stay, very clean. Modern. Good bed, smart tv, full kitchen, bath - private full apartment style. Recommend! Cons : not super private outside - no small amenities such as coffee - not everyone coming to stay has a packed food prep, having at least coffee/cream in the am would enhance the experience and not have to make me go out to get it.'
