'we did not stay at the Bear Inn. We arrived there and there were no rooms available. Three other couples had arrived with the same result. The owner does not have an account with hotels.com, and the picture on the email shows the Bear Inn room as it was when the current owner took over some time back.This is a scam and we have spent a considerable amount of time getting our money back with a derisory offer of £10 for our trouble.'

'We were the only guests when visiting during our hike on the Cotswold way. Although they serve no meals on Mondays our stay was excellent! Our room was fantastic and the staff great! '

'Cooked breakfast was good but the buffet was very sparse. Lack of choice. All that was on the buffet was 2 cereals, tangerines a couple of yogurts, basic bread, a couple of fruit juice and a coffee machine that hardly worked. Never seen a buffet so basic '
