'The cottage is lovely. I was a little surprised/disappointed by the close proximity of other houses as the pictures make it look quite rural. A good sized cottage with a beautiful garden leading out onto a recreation ground which was ideal for the children and walking the dogs. Only fault we could find was the top floor ceiling was very low and a bit of a problem for the adults. maybe a note in the initial booking form to explain this would be a good idea. Nearby is a village pub and road links to Dorchester, Weymouth and others on the A35. The owners left contact details in case of emergencies, but otherwise were not intrusive. 'This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place.'

'Alhoewel de omgeving wat kaal is, (er zou wel wat meer groen mogen zijn) is de caravan voorzien van alle noodzakelijke dingen om ons verblijf tot een heerlijke vakantie te maken. we hebben veel gezien en ondernomen. wat we hebben gemist is een Tourist Information Centre maar met Internet kom je een heel eind!'
