'We love this place and try to come back each summer. It is an ideal base to go hiking at Mt. Baker (Artist Point and surrounds) and then come back for a swim, which our daughter loves. The staff are very nice and super helpful. The breakfast is always good and accommodation is clean and comfortable. It is within walking proximity/handy to a shopping center, including a grocery store and restaurants.'

'The resort had a lot of young employees (likely students) working at the resort who were not adequately supervised. The wait times at the Seaview Cafe was terrible. Upon arrival at the restaurant, no acknowledgement from staff. After waiting to be seated, it's like the staff forgot about you. Then once you ordered, food took a very long time to com. When we were checking in, i advised the person handling our check-in we had to pay for the resort fees as outlined by Expedia but she said no...
