  • Original Sullivan's Island strand naar huis met charmante kenmerken, twee korte blokken lopen naar toegang tot het strand pad. Grote afgeschermde veranda, volledig uitgeruste keuken met draagbare vaatwasser. Afgeschermde veranda is voorzien van plafondventilator, een bank, stoelen voor maximaal 9 en een eettafel met plaats voor 4. Toegang tot de slaapkamers beneden is door middel van een trap in de beschutte veranda gebied. Houtskoolgrill, kabeltelevisie, 32 inch televisie, DVD, hardhouten vloeren. Linnengoed inbegrepen. Wifi. Niet Roken. Geen huisdieren. Gelieve niet te parkeren op de cement pad op Ion Street, dit is een trottoir. Parkeren bij Middle Street.

Fun funky house with lots of space

Reviewer Comments: When we arrive to the house we were very pleased with how fun it was, there were multiple rooms where you could gather or sit by yourself and read we walked down to the restaurants just a couple blocks away. Plenty of parking in the backyard seemed like a great house. Unfortunately there were some Plumbing issues that came up so we were only able to stay one night. The rental agent did get us a new home to stay in but we were sad to leave that house.

Overall I would give them a 7/10 star rating. We love Sullivan’s Island! The house is very convenient to the beach and restaurants. We brought our golf cart so we didn’t have to leave the island the entire stay. The house has a rustic charm to it. There were a few concerns with the property: 1- needs major updating/work; luckily it was just me, my wife and our son but I noticed on day 3 that when you use the shower upstairs there is a leak like a waterfall downstairs that comes through the ceiling. That would have ruined the vacation if we had family staying downstairs with us. We adjusted by using only downstairs shower 2- there was literally only one trash bag provided in the kitchen and when I reached out to the host (Island realty) they said this is their “starter pack” and would not bring us more trash bags. That’s pretty terrible service from a property mgt company and not the owner’s fault. 3- there’s definitely pretty musty smells in the home due to the age and I would guess a lot of mold damage from water leaking I would likely rent this again but only if it had the maintenance/work completed that needs to be done on the house

The house was as described, definitely vintage but loved the vibe! The location was amazing and we had everything we needed. We loved Sullivan’s Island!

Great location/cool house

Absolutely loved the house and location. Check-in process needs to be improved. We had to stop at realty office to get code for the door, and added 20 minutes to our trip. Overall, everything was great.

Girls Trip

The location was amazing. Easy walk to restaurants on Sullivan's Island and ocean. There were only 4 of us but the house could sleep many more. The beds were clean and comfortable! There is a lot of 'stuff' in the house but overall clean. There were no eating utensils (at least we couldn't find them). Other than that, kitchen is well stocked. It was a wonderful get away!

Nice location and home but....

Nice property, plenty of space, location is central to the area and easy to get where you need to go. However, I would recommend investigating some HVAC zoning for the upper and lower floors. Our stay was hot to say the least. From the time we arrived to the time we left this unit hovered at 76-78 degrees and would only drop to a moderately comfortable level of 74 at night but never lower than that.

It wasn’t until we had booked the place that I realized people’s *actual reviews* were hidden under the generic ones. Luckily we didn’t use the downstairs rooms as many of the reviews mentioned, the smell of mold was bad & I am highly allergic to it. The cleaning people had managed to cover the musty smell upstairs with a sickly honeysuckle air freshener. Location is great. Needs improvements to make it worth the cost.

Just splendid!!

Our family had the best of time at your place. The place was just steps away from the beach and easily accessible. It was kid friendly. We had a bunch of teenagers as well in our group who enjoyed the most as the house was just setup right for big groups. Plenty of seating areas. Wonderfully furnished. Bedrooms were spacious as well as adequately furnished. It was a wonderful stay overall. The maintenance staff were also really supportive and prompt. We did have couple of minor issues raised and they attended to us immediately. One of those was the unique Dishwasher which needed to be plugged in when needed. Other than that, the house is a second home for anyone travelling to Charleston.

Two out of five rooms are in the basement of the house, next to the garage and have water issues. The ceilings are peeling due to water damage, the shower heads are rusty and the overall moldy smell in the basement and house are not bearable.

June family Get Away

I love this house. It is like stepping back in time to the house I lived in as a little girl. There were 10 of us and we had more than enough room. We could all go to our own spaces and have solitude if needed. The neighborhood is perfect. The yard is excellent. the screened in porch is a love of mine. We sat out there every night and talked for hours. The kitchen is huge and well put together. We made huge breakfasts and dinners and everyone ate together. The walk to the beach is very easy. Anything you might need ,you will find in this house. I love it. We will definitely stay again next year and this time for longer.
