'The property offered us some quiet family time away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We enjoyed the peace that came with the house and the fact that we weren’t far away from surrounding towns. '

'We stayed over Christmas, so we didn’t get a chance to fully enjoy the outdoor setting (which would have been awesome in the summer) but the cabin was cozy and secluded.You know when the directions to get there include the words “ANOTHER cattle guard,” it’s gonna be a perfect retreat from the chaos at the end of a long day visiting family. 'We only stayed one night. We came to Batesville for the White River Wonderland, which we enjoyed very much. Definitely could not have asked for a better view! The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were all clean. The only complaints I have was the floors should have had a once over just before our arrival. Also, fireplace was badly in need of a cleaning out.'

'I loved staying here. It was a wonderful home away from away while away. Definitely will try to book the next time I am in the area! The property manager was lovely and it is walking distance away from the grocery store. Also there are a ton of local eateries as well. '

'Well-decorated place with two good-sized bedrooms, a large bathroom, and open living space and kitchen. We didn't use the kitchen all that much, but everything else was wonderful (and it was great to get out of the southern heat into the nice A/C -- my New-Englander self was happy about that). The host was incredibly helpful and polite, no complaints here!'

'This place was beautiful and the owners did an amazing job remodeling this place. They also stayed true to the wildlife residing around this little piece of heaven. My husband and I stayed for the weekend and it wasn’t what I was expecting based on the listing. We stayed in a room that felt like a basement.
