'Peter and Jane are terrific hosts of a beautiful spot on the lake. We did all the things. We hiked Mt. Blue to the top. We peddled the boat out onto the lake. We watched the sunrise and sunset on the screened in porch. We made fires and roasted marshmallows. We had a terrifically beautiful family vacation at this perfect little cottage on the lake.'

'We enjoyed the cottage as it had everything we needed to prepare meals including pots and pans, spices, a lovely kitchen, towels and linens, shampoo and body wash in the shower. We loved the open concept and close proximity to downtown Bethel. The fenced-in yard was so convenient for the dogs. Hosts Adam and Suz were great, responsive and helpful. We would stay again!'

'I toook a long girls weekend with family and friends, the camp was very clean and comfortable. Allison the host had provided just about anything you could think of that you would need, from snacks to frosted mugs in the freezer. I had planned on making spaghetti sauce but had forgotten my crockpot, luckily she had one there. 'Lovely view of lake, but no private access. Have to go to “public” beach or dock to paddle board or swim. NO blackout curtains in any of the rooms, so be prepared to wake up at sunrise. BBQ grill had not been cleaned in ages. Spent 45 minutes scrubbing. No outside dining table.'

'Lots of room, 3 bedrooms upstairs with a common bath upstairs. However, if you don't need all 3 bedrooms, avoid the one facing the street. Although Auburn is a small town, this road carries a lot of car and truck traffic all night long and it carries into the bedroom'

'My family stayed here over labor day weekend. Very cute cabin with all the amenities of being at home. This was perfect as minimal packing is great with a 2 year old 10 year old. The kids loved the little beach and the views from the cabin were amazing. We enjoyed our stay and will likely go back again.'

'The property is beautiful. The location on the lake couldn't be beat. The hosts are extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. I gave the property a 4 because we couldn't open the windows(also no screens in the windows) in the main part of the cabin and on hot summer days and nights the inside was very uncomfortable. The bedrooms have ceing fans but nothing in the main cabin. Luckily we brough our own but it still didn't cool the cabin enough. Being somewhat picky it would have been nice...
