'First I want to say the staff was exceptional, but the smell and there was no ice machine and it looked like recent repairs that were done were not done well. It smelled like smoke when you walked into the hotel and the room had a smell, but I love the staff but the actual facility I would not recommend especially for the price.'

'Arrived at the hotel and waited about 5 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Received my room key and was told the elevators didn't work, so we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. Finally made it to the room, I get there & the room door was opened & the room wasn't ready, mind you it was well after 3:00 pm check in time. So I had to walk downstairs again. 'Just a quick stop heading to the west coast for work. Not impressed with this new property. First room, upon entering felt like a sauna despite the air conditioner reading 64 degrees, odor in the room was unbelievable. Second room, someone was in the room, third room was better despite the odor. The front desk staff Anaya was nice and very polite. She was understanding and did what she could to correct the situation. She is a keeper. The cleaning lady had her baby with her. Always concerned...

'The staff were very helpful. We had issues getting in our room when we arrived, but they answered the phone and worked it out. Parking was easy and the location was good for being downtown. The property is old and does not appear to be well maintained. The bathroom had paint peeling if the walls. All in all though it was a nice stay.'
