Rustig, Prive, Waterkant - Luxe op 125 Ft. Van Suttons Bay

White Fence of Suttons Bay is een echt uniek vakantieverblijf. Het pand is een compilatie van gerestaureerde circa 1900 boerderijgebouwen op slechts een blok ten zuiden van een van de meest schilderachtige dorpen in het Boven-Midwesten. Het dorp van Suttons Bay heeft luxe winkels, kunstgaleries en uitstekende restaurants in overvloed. De witte hek van Suttons Bay ligt op loopafstand van het allemaal en is centraal gelegen voor het touren van alle schilderachtige Leelanau County en de vele wijnkelders, fijne restaurants, charmante dorpen en het Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park.

White Fence is een klein en rustig pand dat nauwgezet is gerenoveerd. De gast suite is kunstmatig gedaan met privacy, rustig en prachtig uitzicht op de baai in gedachten gehouden. De terreinen zijn prachtig aangelegd met zithoeken, inclusief prive dekken op het strand. Night star gazing is memorabel. Hoewel we van huisdieren en kinderen houden, zijn de koetshuis suites ook niet ontworpen.

Direct aan de overkant van White Fence is een gastronomische supermarkt die is gespecialiseerd in lokale producten en biedt een uitgebreide wijnkaart waar de sommelier u de bekroonde lokale wijnen kan beschrijven. Er is een open keukenhoek bij White Fence met een houtskool grill, als u besluit om te koken en kookplaat voor sautéing en koken.

Ook direct aan de overkant van de straat is de Leelanau Trail, een uitgebreide fiets-, wandel- en looppad. Het biedt miles van schilderachtig genot. In de wintermaanden wordt de Trail geprepareerd voor langlaufen.
White Fence is oorspronkelijk geopend voor zaken op 4 juli 2010. De nieuwe eigenaren zijn permanente bewoners van Suttons Bay en onze doelstelling is om de schoonheid en de rust te behouden die gasten sinds het begin aangenaam zijn.

Property owners were wonderful! What a great stay we had. We loved how this carriage house was decorated. It was very comfortable and cozy. This is a perfect place for two people. The location is excellent. We could walk to the market or a restaurant across the street, or take a very short walk into town. The beach is right in front of the cottage with clear water and beautiful sand and there are decks as well, for those who don’t like sandy feet. It was delightful!

Excellent quality lodging on Sutton‘s Bay

spacious, high-quality designed lodging, that includes wonderful artwork. Great access to a beautiful beach area right on the water. The only downside was the properties exterior needs cleaning and painting.Another bonus was a great grocery store right across the street. The property backs up to a major highway, but the noise was minimal inside.

We could have titled this in a number of ways but you can’t beat this location that has a private beach and proximity to downtown Suttons Bay. We stayed in mid-May and it was very quiet and traffic was light. No problem getting into restaurants.

Thank you for a delightful stay in this comfortable & cosy carriage house. We stayed here to climb & hike the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. A perfect location for exploring, as at every turn there was a hiking trail, lake, wineries & restaurants. So peaceful drinking our morning coffee & enjoying the lake view. A lovely cottage on the bay, easy walk into town.

Everything was very nice and as described in the listing. The main house associated with this guest house was vacant during our stay so we had use of their section of the beach. A public park and beach is just 100 yds or so to the south if you’re looking for a swimming beach and playground equipment. We enjoy walking and the street along the shore that starts south of the cottage at the park, continues for a couple miles out onto the peninsula forming the south shore of Suttons Bay. A nice walk. This location provides quick access to all the main cities of the peninsula and we took full advantage of that fact, visiting Leeland, Glen Arbor, Point Oneida historic district and Traverse City. Would love to do again.
