Dit mooie historische terras heeft 3 slaapkamers, waarvan er 2 zijn ingericht met kingsize bedden en queensize bedden. De andere 1 slaapkamer heeft twee kingsize eenpersoonsbedden. Dit is een zitkamer, moderne keuken en eetkamer voor uw comfort in het souterrain, Het heeft twee badkamers met toilet en met wasmachine en droger. Dit is gratis onbeperkt wifi en lokale telefoon, volledige keukenfaciliteiten, 2 tv, haardroger. Gratis gebruik van wasgoed voorlader wasmachine en droger. Deze eigenschap zou ideaal zijn voor twee gezinnen van vier - met twee kinderen en / of volwassenen in elke familie die samen op vakantie zijn. Vanwege de locatie in het hart van Sydney, brengt CBD uw familie met u mee om van de stad te genieten terwijl u op zakenreis bent door de stad. Of help overheads te verminderen en boek uw personeel hier voor uw vergadering of conferentie in de stad!

Het Sydney Theatre, musea en kunstgalerijen liggen allemaal op loopafstand. De weekendmarkt in the Rocks is een perfecte stop voor souvenirs en geschenken voor uw geliefden thuis. U bevindt zich op slechts een steenworp afstand van het operagebouw van Sydney en de haven. Terwijl leden van uw familie in het nabijgelegen CBD (George en Pitt Street) kunnen winkelen, kunnen anderen een kroegentocht proberen in de twee oudste nog bestaande pubs in Sydney, Lord Nelson en Fortune of War. Zorg ervoor dat u de nieuw ingerichte Palisade en de held van Waterloo niet mist!

Het Barangaroo Headland Park is onlangs geopend en is een geweldige plek om te relaxen bij de haven of om de kinderen op het gras te laten spelen.

Openbaar vervoer
Als u niet echt van wandelen houdt, is er een bushalte op 50 meter afstand met regelmatige bussen naar het zakendistrict, het stadhuisstation en het centraal station. Een taxi nemen vanaf mijn voordeur is gemakkelijk en kost geen tijd om voorbij te komen. Om van en naar het vliegveld te komen, is de reguliere Airport Link-trein die vertrekt vanaf Circular Quay Station of een taxi duurt ongeveer 25 minuten (afhankelijk van het verkeer). Als u dat nodig heeft, bieden wij ook de service om u op te halen op de luchthaven op uw aankomst, en stuur je naar de luchthaven op je vertrekdatum. Je betaalt gewoon $ 60 cash aan de chauffeur.

Black Mold, musty and Safety Issues•First thing that you notice when entering is the overwhelming smell of Must/Mold. Look straight up from the back door and you’ll see the mold from the leaking roof. •Owner used wall tiles instead of floor tiles on the bathroom/shower floor; slipping hazard•Front door is double keyed and is difficult to lock/unlock. On average it takes 30 seconds to turn the bolt. The front door also has no weather stripping. It’s a busy sidewalk out front and you will hear the people outside as though they are in the living room with you.•The beds sit directly on the floor. Be prepared for insects in the bed•Hot water runs out after 5 to 10 minutes•The only heat/AC are in the 3 bedrooms.

Brilliant location and exceptionally comfortable digs

This place was exactly what we were looking for. It had enough beds for the each of us. And boy, the beds were comfortable! The stairs are a bit tricky, but the character to this old, well kept home was beyond charming. The location was amazing. A water view from one of the bedrooms. A few minutes walk and we were in The Rocks, Circular Quay, and in about 15 minutes we were the heart of the CBD. We recommend this to any and all who are wanting to experience Sydney.

Charming home

The house has a cute layout. The back door entrance lets you into the kitchen and dining area. There is a bed and bathroom on this level. The front door enters into the 2nd level living room area, with the second bath on this level. The third level has two bedrooms. The stairs are steep and narrow. It was very clean, and the host was very responsive to any questions we had. Would stay here again. It’s a great location.

Classic old terrace

The location was unreal. As other reviews have said, there are two steep flights of stairs but this was no problem. Everything works andxthe house coped with 30mm of rain in 15 minutes!! The only thing I thought could be mentioned is that the tv isn't a smart tv but in this modern device age that wasn't a problem.

Property mis-represented

The property is strategically presented and hides the true condition of the layout of the unit. You enter the unit from the back yard gate next to rubbish and recycling containers. The back yard patio area is not suitable to use for relaxation as there is no furniture and the brick patio flooring needs to be cleaned of moss and dirt. Upon entering at the ground level, you have to pull you suitcase up one or two sets of stairs as the bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd level of the apartment. The description never mentions 3 levels, only a ground level and a second level. The stairs are incredibly steep and narrow making it difficult to carry a large suitcase to a bedroom. One could easily fall and injure oneself. The living room is on the 2nd level and the kitchen is on the ground floor so using at least one flight of stairs is unavoidable which, as elderly people, we saw as a real safety concern. Communicating with the owner was thru e-mail and responses to questions were delayed or non-responsive. I would be happy to provide pictures to verify the descriptions of the entrance and the back yard. We have used VRBO in the past and have been happy with what we reserved as the property met our expectations based on what was described.Gary Brog

Staying at the rocks

The location of this property was excellent for us as we were catching a cruise boat. We were able to walk from the property to the Cruise Terminal also to the Opera house. It wasn’t easy getting into the place but we sorted it out the layout of the place was good and the kitchen and bathrooms were very good.

Überragende Lage, aber ein bisschen Arbeit wäre nötig

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage, man ist in 10Minuten an der Oper und in 5 Minuten in Bangaroo. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin ist mitunter etwas schleppend, aber irgendwann bekommt man seine Antwort. Manchmal auch auf Nachfrage. Eine Schublade war kaputt, und wir mussten uns Besteck kaufen, weil nicht genug im Haus war, um eine gemeinsame Mahlzeit abzudecken. Die Regendusche im Erdgeschoss war kaputt. Das Haus ist charmant und wir haben die Zeit hier sehr trotzdem genossen

Great Location

The location is perfect for a weekend in Sydney- easy to walk to Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. The location is what you’re paying for as the house itself is a bit dated and amenities super basic. Only bath towels provided and these were the thin type with some of them having Playboy on them! Extra pillows in cupboards but no pillowcases. Hot water in the middle level bathroom very temperamental. We were there on a hot weekend and the house was hot- just one small fan in the lounge but thankfully aircon in the bedrooms which worked well. Overall we enjoyed our stay but for the price, don’t expect luxury.

Misleading description

Older travellers beware. This property has very steep and narrow stairs. Floor plan is this: kitchen, dining area, bed and bath on lower level. Street level is 2nd floor which has a livingroom and bathroom. 3rd floor is only 2 bedrooms. If you need frequent nighttime bathroom visits, using that steep stairs to get to the bathroom is not easy. Also, the beautiful view of the bay is from the third floor, while sitting on the edge of the bed, looking out the window. The backyard needs some serious upkeep. We found a broken cabinet, weeds everywhere, and an ancient cafe table set, surrounded by a high fence, no view. However, ending on a positive note, the location was excellent.

Very charming neighborhood, walking distance to many of the downtown attractions including the Opera House. Several rustic bars and restaurants nearby. Perfect for our little three day get away.

Passable but disappointed.

The pictures doesn't reflect the reality. The house need some repairs and a good coat of paint. The stairs aren't just steep but also very narrow. And the backyard was full a weeds, not a place you would like to have a nice coffee or a glass of wine. But the location was great.

This property does not match the description or photos and is in very poor condition. The house was very dirty and not at all suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There is no mention about the steep stairs on the ad and I think this needs to be disclosed, the listed property compared to the actual property is very different and not in a good way. It also advises that there is parking on site. There is no parking. The cupboards were broken and the oven didn’t work.

Great location and base for our girls weekend away. The levels which is fine as long as your ok with extremely steep steps. Pub and few restaurants next door, walking distance to all the attractions. Home needs a little TLC and appliances updated but beds were comfortable.

We loved our stay. There was a lot of room and it was warm. The heat pumps are great! It was easy to walk to the train station or corner shop and close to the city centre. The stairs are a little narrow and there’s 2 lots of them so I wouldn’t recommend for anybody that couldn’t do stairs but other than that we had a lovely stay, it has everything you need in it and it was very nice and clean.
