Heerlijke plek.

Heerlijk rustige plek om van daaruit Manley en Sydney te ontdekken. Lopend of met de bus en de ferry. Sfeervolle locatie en wijk. Aardige gastvrouw en heer. We hebben genoten. Aan te bevelen.

The guest quarters (bedroom, balcony and bathroom) are in the upstairs area of the hosts’ house. You can tell that Martine is an artist - she has a keen eye for aesthetics, ambience, comfort and detail. Generous supply of amenities including toiletries and teas. I’m a big eater and found the portions of muesli (that was soaked overnight), stewed fruit, and good quality bread to be a very satisfying and delicious breakfast.If you are after a beautiful, peaceful environment; don’t mind staying in the same house as the hosts; are respectful of house rules; will be eating out (apart from breakfast) and don’t mind a 25 min walk or bus ride into Manly then consider staying here. It’s a unique B&B experience… and it may awaken something in you.

A perfect base for a relaxing / sightseeing trip. It's a beautiful old style home, the garden is a tropical paradise - we woke upto birdsong. Very welcoming hosts. Couldn't have asked for more.Clean, comfy room with a lovely balcony overlooking the back garden. Lovely breakfast, & kindly provided gluten free options. Spacious modern shower room with a. range of toiletries provided. Teas. Coffee provided, room fridge was very handy. Would love to return & definitely recommend.

A very good place to stay, but for room only!

Overall, a very good place to stay for a few nights. Excellent bathroom and shower facilities, very clean and quiet. The only downside for us was the breakfast. No alternative choice to very sweet muesli was offered and very small serving of toast/pastries and coffee - we bought breakfast out every morning in Manly.

Martine was a wonderful host and the property was gorgeous. It was clean, well maintained and surrounded by lush, beautiful gardens. My husband and I had everything we needed for our stay and would happily recommend to others.

This B&B is a very nice place. The upper floor is yours (a big Bedroom with a balcony and a storage room) the modern bathroom is next to it.Martine made a delicious breakfast (Birchermüesli). The host are really nice peoples.

Home from home

We spent 9 nights in this lovely home. The breakfasts were very good and everything was immaculately clean.The location couldn't have been more convenient as the 144 bus goes every 10 minutes from the top of the road.

Peaceful retreat in Fairlight

You have the top floor to yourself. We were looking for a peaceful, relaxing break and we weren't disappointed, it was a great base. The owner is thoughtful and accomodating and she makes a lovely Swiss continental breakfast. We didn't use the backyard area but it is a lush, green space. There's on street parking but no need to drive once there, as the beaches and restaurants are a short walk away or there are regular buses. It is not a hotel, but that said, we had an enjoyable stay and would happily recommend it.

Beautiful green oasis

Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay! The hosts went above and beyond our expectations. Walking distance to everything (beaches, restaurants, shopping, ferries), very close to transportation, extremely clean. If we ever return to Sydney, this will be our home away from home. Definitely 5 stars plus.

Home away from home

The bedroom was light and airey with a view to the garden. You can feel the peace. Breakfast was (for me) delicious. The hosts ware delightful and they respected your privacy. It’s a single or couples haven.
