Great hostel to stay in. Only issues were fan not working in private double room and a god awful mattress that had springs digging into you when you lay down. Only had to deal with it for one night but could be problematic for others

The advertised place states it has parking on site and that it’s included which is not the case. Parking is on the street. This needs to be made clear as it is misleading. This is why I assumed the price was so high, I know it’s the city but there are cheaper places that offer more for your money. The whole place felt really uncomfortable. The door to my room and the windows has no lock. I would’ve felt safer sleeping in the bathroom that had a lock. $131 wasted. Communication via text. I drove back home and didn’t stay the night

It was great to receive a message on how to gain access the lodge after reception business hours. But bitterly disappointed with my room position. I mentioned that I was leaving very early the next day (5am) then to find that my room was directly adjacent to the outside table and chairs common area. I could not get to sleep until everyone had left the area in and around 11pm! Very disappointed I myst say!

During the sleep time, really noisy to hear those people who walked to the corridor and close the door , cabinet and showering. The sound proof is so bad . It made me can’t sleep all night by those very loud noise. Won’t be a nice place to sleep,

Bring your own light into the toilet
All is good, except the toilet light and exhaust fan that switch off automatically (~15mins), so bring your own light into the toilet. Would have been better to replace with a motion sensors instead of using timer. Street parking is hard to find during the after school period ~3pm, when parents are waiting. It also get full at night. Would have been better to allow guest to use the parking lot in the back yard.

Thank you for your review Regarding parking , it is on the street parking no charge no limit, very lacky in Sydney to have thatparking inside do not belong to lodge , it is next door apartments lot reserve parking

Nice hostel for a quick stay
The room was tidy and comfortable. After hours check in was quick and painless, they contacted me before the check in date to confirm the time of arrival and gave me the option of a late check in. Close to transport and plenty of options for food and entertainment.

I chose this place because it was budget accom and I could walk from the Enmore Theatre with my boys after our concert. Reception was closed when we arrived but all was clean and tidy and check in was easy. However, it is August and while there was a quilt and a blanket on the big bed, my boys had nothing but a sheet and a skinny, small synthetic blanket each. There was nothing extra. Luckily we had a heater. It's probably fair to say a noise curfew should be introduced. We were back at 11.30 but around 2am I think, a whole group came in, chatting and banging around for quite a while.

I liked the position, near transport and parks. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Cooking facilities were good too. The room did have a shortage of power sockets though. Always enjoy our stay there.

Very basic, budget accommodation. My room was adequate but only just. There was a fridge and sink but no plates or cutlery and no suggestion that I could get or use anything from the kitchen. One of the pillows smelled mouldy. Shared amenities need some attention. On the plus side - it was very close to public transport and to the conference venue.

Very basic which is reflected in the price, but reasonably comfortable but I wouldn't want to stay there in summer it would be ridiculously hot in the room I was in as it was hot in the room and not outside.

Was happy with the room and facilities. Good location. There were bugs (I think fleas) in the shower recess. The worst thing, is they stuffed up my payment, by obviously typing in the wrong numbers for amount to be devoted, lied about it, then sat there at their machine, trying different amounts to debit until they managed to take the last $30 from my account, without my permission or knowledge. Very shady, untrustworthy.

dear Kim Thank you for second a comment please contact our office we still notice outstanding balance $67.02 for the second night . I can provide more info about payment. You had booking for 2 nights ( $99 a night ) we have 2% surcharge for using Visa or MasterCard total $100.98 a night . We did take on your arrival day $100.98 plus next day morning you had conversation by text msgs . ( we texted you massages about second night ) . We sent you a msg on Monday again and we did call as well but you never answer. Yes we did take $30 from your card on Monday. We do not need to lied !! We provide service what you used and didn't pay.
