  • Praktischer kan het niet. Dit appartement ligt tegenover het Centraal Station in de hippe Surry Hills van Sydney, dicht bij alles. Vanaf hier kunt u de coolste buitenwijken van Sydney te voet verkennen of de trein of bus nemen naar stranden en bushwalks (of zakelijke bijeenkomsten). Zelfs de luchthaven is met het openbaar vervoer in 10 minuten te bereiken. En met nieuw, modern meubilair, een slimme styling, moderne apparatuur en gepolijste betonnen vloeren bent u elke avond blij om thuis te komen.

The apartment is in a fantastic location. That said, i'm not sure how often this place actually gets serviced. When we arrived, the smell of bleach was overwhelming, so we opened the windows to air it out. In the kitchen, the cabinet interiors are quite dirty with stains, crumbs, etc. In the bathroom, mold is prevalent around the sink. The bathroom has no ventilation, so this may be the issue. The shower pressure is weak at most, and there is a moldy track on the floor to attempt to mitigate the water from the shower. The bedroom is fine, though some surfaces were quite dusty. The bedroom doona is sandwiched between two sheets rather than being put in a cover, so it becomes a bit awkward to use. Getting the key was a saga; we were messaged by three different companies (Belvilla based in Europe, VRBO, and a local company in Australia) and couldn't get the information on where to find our keys until we were at outside the door with our suitcases. Turns out we had to walk 10 minutes away to pick them up before returning with access. This place has great potential, but I think it needs a bit more care and consideration. I definitely wouldn't want to stay here again under the conditions I mentioned.

This place has so much potential, but sadly, it has suffered a bit of neglect and has been a bit of a disappointing experience.First off, this place seems to be managed by a company in Netherlands (Belvilla) but is locally handled in Sydney (MadeComfy), so getting in touch with the property to access our key on check-in day was quite aggravating. We had to walk 10 minutes away with our suitcases to go get the key from a milk shop and come back.Upon arrival, the apartment stank of bleach so we opened the windows to air it out. The cabinets in the kitchen are dirty with crumbs, water damage, and who knows what else. The bathroom is moldy. Moldy!! There is mold around the sink, under the sink, mold around the shower area, and the drain is something else… drain flies kept coming out, which is a sign that the plumbing is just dirty. The bathroom has a very prominent pee smell that just won’t go away. The bedroom is a bit odd - the bed is comfy, but the comforter is not covered and is simply sandwiched between two bedsheets. It’s a bit awkward to use and I can’t say i’ve experienced that method anywhere else. Additionally, I've woken up with clusters of insect bites on my body which makes me suspect that the bedroom may also not be as clean. I wouldn’t advise staying here unless you’re really okay with mold but i’m sorry, it’s a hard no for me and it’s been extremely disappointing that the management of this place kept passing me in circles.
