'We loved our stay here. The rooms are clean and modern with good AC and wifi, hot shower, and comfy bed. The breakfast buffet was very good. Menu selection changed a bit every day and service was outstanding. Dinner was also very good - we ate there twice during our stay. It's a short walk to the beach, with good snorkeling there, or very reasonable rates to join a snorkel tour through the hotel dive shop.'

'Pool was empty almost daily it was really nice to not have to fight for space. Most people are snorkeling or diving. We still claimed chairs in the morning because some days chairs get claimed quickly. The rooms were great with full kitchens and options for roll away beds for kids that were really comfortable! 'We had a great stay overall. The hotel is located right in the main tourist area, close to everything and surrounded by other hotels, which is very convenient. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky as there was almost no seaweed during our stay. Only one day, right before we left, a lot of sargassum washed in. 'Breakfast was very good with about 4 different options. The rooms were a good size and the large balcony was very nice. Loved the modern kitchen with blender, dishwasher and large fridge! You need to supply your own dish tabs & cloths. We loved the large pool and swim up bar. The staff is very friendly. It would have been nice to have a happy hour or discounted cocktails included in the package. Overall I would highly recommend Acqua di Mare and would definitely stay here again!'

'Unfortunately we did not have water for 2 days, and while it may or may not be a maintenance issue, it simply made our stay very uncomfortable as we couldn’t shower, use the washroom, etc. The staff are very courteous and friendly but they operate based on the hotel’s rules/budget so there’s not much more they can do. The floor in the room was filthy and I don’t think it was cleaned/moped once during our stay (showed on our feet after walking barefoot, after coming from beach with clean feet)....

'I never do this. I don’t want to mess with people’s livelihood but I want people to know what they are getting with this place. Started with no one in the office to check in for 10 mins. The room we were in (a separate stand alone) had mildew all over, poorly done workmanship, terrible beds and pillows. The refer was wide open and unplugged. I took pictures but they didn’t turn out well because we lost power the morning of check out. I really truly am not hard to please and totally understand...
