'Quando siamo arrivati al cottage verso le 18.00 non si è presentato nessuno per darchi la chiave. Abbiamo chiesto ad una vicina che ha cercato si aiutarci. Alla fine, verso le 21.15 hanno rintracciato la donna delle pulizie che ci ha prestato la sua chiave. 'We bought the 3 night stay as gift for our son's birthday. After a 3 hour journey they could not access the property as the keysafe code we had been given was incorrect. My wife and I were out for a meal and spent over an hour trying to contact someone that could give us the correct code. Eventually after nearly 2 hour they were able to guess the code and gain entry. Customer service and support were pathetic and left them stranded in the rain.'

'Comfortable, spacious cottage with all modern conveniences. Lovely welcome pack of eggs, bread, milk and apple juice. Quiet location with a rural outlook so close to York. We even had some sheep outside our door!'

'High specification, spotless and well appointed property. Easy walking distance from the centre of York. Enjoyed a breakfast sat in the garden. Booked as group of 4 and plenty big enough. Definitely recommend for proximity to centre but also being in a nice peaceful area too.'
