I had a lovely stay at the Talkeetna Mount Dall Cottage! Beautifully done cottage! I’m blown away! Would love to build something like this for my parents when they come stay with us. The cottage had everything I needed for my stay and the bed is so comfortable! I slept so good! Super clean and nicely kept. Excellent communication and worked with me on my request to stay an hour past checkout. Wished I could’ve stayed there more than one day though. This is the place to stay on my next trip to Talkeetna for sure! Thank you!

This property is unusually posh and well-appointed. It's clean, quiet, comfortable, and in a beautiful setting. The owners were incredibly responsive. Twenty minutes before we were to arrive at the house, I realized I'd packed everything for our breakfast in the morning except butter to make our eggs. I texted Jana and Mike to see if there was some oil or anything in the house we might be able to use, with zero expectation that I'd hear back in time to save us from having to go hunting for a store in this rural town late in the evening. I heard back from them literally 2 minutes later, to say that they would leave us a stick of butter in the fridge, and they did. Shortly after we arrived, around 9pm, we had a problem logging into the WiFi. I texted them about it, and they again replied in 2 minutes, and fixed it right away. Wonderful place and owners. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Beautiful Winter Getaway
Took a short two night getaway just before Christmas. Great price for the value/quality and comfort of this nice little cabin. Full amenities and the owners are on property if you were to need anything more. Although, just less than 10 miles from downtown Talkeetna, the extra drive is totally worth it. It snowed each night we were there which made for some very beautiful scenery on and off property. We definitely plan on staying at the Mount Dall Cabin again.

Lovely cottage!
The cottage was perfect for a night getaway. The place was very spacious, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home. The bed was so comfortable and the area was quiet. Would definitely love to rent from this host again, as it was a wonderful all-around experience!

This is a beautiful cabin. Communication from the owner was good and I got quick help with the only problem- tv connection. Beautiful floors and bathroom in comfy cabin. Some of my activities were rained out and I was glad to have such a lovely cabin to wait out the weather.

This cabin is one of the cutest, and cleanest cabins I have ever been in. Our family had a wonderful time. Transportation is a little difficult in the winter season, so making arrangements ahead of time is necessary. The hot, perfect jacuzzi in below 14 degrees outside, and beautiful atmosphere was amazing!!! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Fantastic owners allowing us to enter 2 hours early due to the regional fires ; they provided great area info. Home is very clean, well stocked, comfortable and close enough to town! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin in the woods!

Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed for our needs. The location was quiet and convenient to explore Talkeetna, ride the train and from which to take a flight to the Denali Glacier . Denali Park was a fairly long drive (for Ohioans) but the road was good and traffic light in May. We had a Great Time>

Thanks so much! We choose this location to be a respite from the busy summer season in ‘downtown’ Talkeetna, but still be close enough for an easy drive (or bike ride) into town for the great restaurants and recreational activities. Distances definitely have their own scale in Alaska. Unfortunately, there’s not many options between Talkeetna and Denali to stay, making us the hub for visiting or climbing The Great One. We’re glad you had a great visit!

‘Downtown’ Talkeetna can get very hectic- that’s why most people choose to stay with us. We are secluded in a birch forest, yet just minutes away from ‘town’. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay!

Perfect Getaway
Can’t say enough good things about this place - easy check in, beautiful and modern cabin, quiet location. It’s about 10 miles from downtown Talkeetna which has a few awesome reataurants and flightseeing companies. By far one of the best places we’ve stayed during our road trip.
