Our only downfalls to this location were the kitchen being petite, the carpets in the bedrooms smelled like pet urine although this is not a pet friendly VRBO (we sprayed Odoban to reduce the smell). 'This house was an amazing jewel to stay at! Fantastic location off the lake and close to Alabaster with an easy commute. Our group loved sitting by the fire each night and the amount of seating is perfect for a large group. We had a maintenance issue during our stay and the housekeeper came out immediately to assist. 'First off, Gary was responsive to my messages and our needs. The camper was nice and perfect for our needs. Being by the lake is awesome and fishing was pretty good from a kayak with my sons. Keep in mind, our family enjoys nature and the outdoors and all that comes with it. 🙂 We were in town from Thursday to Saturday for a baseball tournament and after a hot day at the field, it was nice to come jump in the lake or sit on the dock or take a nap after a nice shower.
