'Leon's house worked out great for us. We just needed a place to stay for 1 night as we were attending a wedding. We did not do anything but sleep there so I cannot speak to any shopping or restaurants nearby. It was good for what we needed. It was clean and Leon was quick to reply if I had questions.'

'This house is an architectural treasure and it was kind of incredible to be able to stay in it. The beds were clean and comfortable with nice linens, which is super important. My two college aged sons stayed with me to attend the third sibling’s parent weekend. We each had our own sleeping space- my oldest and I each had a bed and my younger son slept on a pull out couch which he found comfortable. 'The neighborhood was creepy. Mail was on the doorstep unopened, the owner never communicated the code to get in. I sent a text/email and never got a response. The neighbors were doing drugs. … some sort of sniffing, smoking?!? We felt totally unsafe and went to an Embassy Suites. I would expect a full refund and have contacted my credit card company to enter a complaint. I would never recommend this place to anyone !!!'

'This is the second year that my wife and I joined my daughter's family at this house. We chose it for its location on the river and it having a beach. We brought a small sailboat with us and had a great time on the river and the beach. The layout suited our needs with a downstairs master bedroom. We attended the Cow Town rodeo on Saturday night and enjoyed it. The host maintained good communication via the app. We would recommend this as a great place to stay for a good time on the water.'

'The host and actual apartment are great - clean, nice bathroom, the host was so friendly and left amazing treats, including a surprise for breakfast. The neighborhood was not great, and unfortunately was the only bad part about this stay. Otherwise I'd give 5 stars and would definitely stay with this host again.'
