Enjoy fabulous views of Lake Annecy and the mountains from the terraces and balconies of this stunning contemporary villa just outside the lakeside village of Talloires.

The pretty village has easy access to the Aravis mountains as well as a lovely beach area, restaurants, bars and a cinema, and there is a good supermarket and shops in Menthon St Bernard, which is 3km away. The village also has a small port.

It will take you just over half an hour to drive to the ski stations of La Clusaz and La Croix Fry. The villa has been newly furnished and offers spacious and very comfortable accommodation for eight people.

Newly furnished for OVO Network guests, Villa Flying Dragon sleeps eight people in four double bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor.

Two of the rooms have large double beds and open on to a shared sunny balcony, while the others have twin beds, which can be linked to make doubles. All of the beds are of good quality, with extra deep mattresses to ensure you get a good night’s sleep.

There is a shower room on the ground floor, a bathroom on the first floor and another shower room on the lower ground floor, where you will also find the sauna and utility room. There are also separate toilets on the ground and first floors.

The main living area is light and airy with doors on to a covered balcony. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table which seats eight, and a relaxing sitting area with a large sofa and a wall-hung television.

There is a second room with a smaller kitchen, a sofa and a dining table for four, making this an ideal property for groups of friends. There are two more terraces off this area, offering different but just as stunning views of the lake and mountains.

Villa Flying Dragon is set in beautiful landscaped gardens, the highlight of which is the delightful raised terrace - picture yourself lying in the hammock watch the paragliders come in to land, or enjoying a barbecue around the swimming pool.

There is parking below the house and entrance is through electronic gates.

ABOUT THE AREA ...

It would be hard to find a better location than Villa Flying Dragon for a summer holiday exploring the French Alps.

Swim in the crystal-clear Lake Annecy from the beautiful beach area in Talloires, just minutes from your front door, or try watersports such as water-skiing, kayaking, or stand-up paddleboarding. A cycle path runs almost all of the way around the lake, or you could hire a boat and visit one of the many waterside restaurants.

For a change of scene, head for the mountains. There’s a huge range of activities to be found in La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand and Manigod (climbing, hiking, mountain-biking and paragliding to name just a few!).

There are several superb golf courses nearby, such as the Golf Club du Lac d’Annecy in Talloires, and the stunning Chateau de Menthon-Saint-Bernard, less than five minutes' drive away, is definitely worth a visit.

From Talloires it's just an 11km scenic drive to the beautiful town of Annecy. As well as produce and antique markets, annual highlights include the Venetian carnival in February, the animated film festival in June and the Lake festival in August.

If you would rather relax back at the villa you won’t be short of things to do - enjoy the Japanese-style terraced garden, relax in the hammock by the pool or enjoy the sauna before a barbecue on the terrace while you enjoy the stunning views of the Lake Annecy area
