'The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. 'The hotel was nice and comfortable and furnishings modern. the bed was extremely comfortable. The outside bar area overlooking the tidal estuary was lovely.
We had an evening meal the first night of our stay that was delicious and reasonably priced.
The location is great and extremely handy for public transport. The railways station is literally next door and that is how we travelled.
Only a couple of things to be aware of, the access stairs to the upstairs rooms are narrow and extremely steep.'

'Excellent quality accommodation, situated within sight of the sea front. Very tidy well maintained property, quiet and comfortable.
Only problem was car parking facility, which was a council owned park opposite. Charges were very high hourly, £7 for a day.

'Such a friendly staff. Small white room but we expected that, comfy bed, broken chair. View over sea fab, but windows suffer condensation and only one opened, so very hot. Key to door jammed locking us in but staff so helpful . Needs a new lock. Would we stay there again? yes we would, outdoor bar, coffee and cake excellent and happy hour.
