Luxe Costa Ricaanse landgoed met een spectaculair 360 glazen uitzicht op een bergtop. Casa Moses is een privé-toevluchtsoord met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers, waar binnen de natuur ontmoet. Deze retraite ligt op slechts 8 minuten rijden buiten Tamarindo in een privé-gated natuurgebied, maar dicht genoeg bij belangrijke bezienswaardigheden zoals best beoordeelde restaurants, surfspots, golf, tennis en spa's. Voltooid in 2017, dit twee verdiepingen tellende huis op de bergtop gebruikt een van een soort architecturale componenten zoals Guanacaste hout en rots, zittend op drie hectare grond met het doel van privé-ontspanning. Elke kamer zorgt voor een eenvoudige sterrenkijk door glazen ramen van plafond tot vloer en vijf afzonderlijke buitenpatio's. Eigendom is aangelegd met inheemse fruitbomen, bloemen en fauna met uitzicht helemaal naar de westkust oceaan evenals de jungle luifel en vulkanen in het oosten. Avontuurlijke activiteiten zoals ziplining en paardrijden bevinden zich in het natuurreservaat.

Casa Moses heeft een eigen poort en beveiligde / aangebouwde garage met directe toegang tot het huis. Een propaan grill en zwembad drijvers worden opgeslagen in de garage.

De begane grond bevindt zich 6 ft boven de grond voor extra beveiliging en profiteert van het uitzicht op de jungle. De begane grond bevat de open concept woon- en eetkamers, de vooringang, samen met de keuken en het zwembad / terras en 18 voet gewelfd plafond. Het oneindige zwembad loopt over de lengte van het huis met meerdere toegangspunten.

De 1e verdieping gast slaapkamer, terras, kast en bad is 5 stappen omhoog van de begane grond waardoor voor extra privacy van de belangrijkste met extra hoge plafonds.

Via de zwevende houten trap bevat de tweede verdieping de hoofdslaapkamer, ensuite badkamer, terras, kast en wasmachine / droger met groot gewelfd plafond en aangepaste verlichting en kroonluchters. De uitzichten zijn uitstekend en kijken uit over de boomtoppen.

Alle houten elementen (deuren, trappen en kasten) werden op maat gemaakt in Costa Rica.

We enjoyed our stay in Costa Rica. Julie is a great host - responded right away, great communications. Lets start with the good. Location has an amazing jungle view, with birds, iguanas and howler monkeys off in the distance. Bedrooms and bathrooms are really nice, and the bed is very comfortable. A short drive to Tamarindo. Now the not so good. The property is tired. Old towels, old mismatched dishes. There are many dirt roads in Costa Rica, but the road up to the property is steep and rutted and generally quite challenging. I wouldn't want to attempt it in the rainy season. When we got to the property there were Ring cameras in the kitchen and living room. Creepy and invasive. They are easy to disable - you just take the battery out - but really, what were they thinking?

Breathtaking views of nature with a 360• view! Beautiful home with amenities that made you just relax. Open the glass doors up during the morning for a wind that blows through the house. Wake up early to see and hear the monkeys!! The pool is divine! Don’t let the bugs scare you at all, just sweep them up and move on! We can’t wait to visit this casa again. It is truly home away from home.

My friends and I spent 10 days there and we would have stayed more if we could have! You definitely need a Four-wheel drive to access the property. The house is clean and big, the terrasses are really great and the pool a big plus. Being surrounded my nature was fantastic! We had howler monkeys that came and ate the flowers on the tree right in front of us, there was an iguana that was visiting us everyday, chanting birds.. It can get very noisy early morning with the howler monkeys and the birds so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs! It does get hot in the house but you have AC in the bedrooms and fans elsewhere. We did get a scorpio in the house so just be careful and close all the windows all the time! The communication with Julie was great. We really loved our stay !

Staying at this property made our stay in Costa Rica special over the holiday season. The house is beautiful as it is functional—everything you need. Our family had the good fortune of being able to experience the howler monkeys in the mornings and late afternoon—what a treat. Julie is an excellent host, has quick communication and is very responsive. And yes –as other reviews have indicated, it is hot with all the windows in the afternoon, and it’s a perfect time to swim in the pool or be at the beach. The views from the home are breathtaking, and the overall experience of staying just outside of Tamarindo was worth it for our family—a short drive into town. Thank you, we will be sure to come back.

The house is as beautiful as the listing photos show-it was perfect for 2 couples. We enjoyed walking the trails on the property and watching monkeys and other wildlife from both indoors and out thanks to all the windows and terraces. Yes, house gets quite warm for a bit in the late afternoon but that’s worth the views - we just planned pool time accordingly. Lots to do nearby- we went horseback riding at black stallion and Tamarindo is just a short drive for beach, tours, restaurants and shopping. Julie is an excellent host, any maintenance concerns were addressed immediately and the home is clean and really well appointed.

Unfortunately, we were only able to stay the first night of our stay in Costa Rica at this amazing home located in the Black Stallion Eco Park due to the loss of electricity that was not at all the owner's fault. The electric company did not come out to fix the issue with their line until late the second day the home was without power. The home sits literally on top of the canopy and the view is amazing! We heard and saw howler monkeys the first full day we were there. Julie was extremely helpful and responsive to the issue with the electricity and worked very hard to get the problem rectified as quickly as possible. I will say that the roads to the house at the end of the rainy season are not for the faint at heart, but we certainly felt the rough terrain was worth it once we arrived. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

My husband and I came to Tamarindo for our honeymoon and stayed 8 days. We loved this house and it made our trip so nice. This house is at the top of the mountain and the view is stunning as you have a grand view in each room. There is so much privacy and comfort here. Make sure you know how to get there in advance as we got lost without our cell service/ gps. Julie is very responsive and great to communicate with. We are hoping to return for a wedding anniversary one year. Definitely recommend for couples for an extremely romantic vacation.

Nice house and beautiful views. Ileana and Julie were very responsive. Being in the jungle there were lots of bugs especially now during beetle season. Would have been better if there were screens so we can open doors in the evenings and enjoy the breeze

The home and surroundings were beautiful! Listening to the howler monkeys while enjoying coffee in the mornings was my most relaxing time. I suppose I knew there would be bugs, but there were so many beetles smacking the windows at dark (they seek the light inside), I creeped myself out and couldn't sit on the balcony at night! I could view the starry sky from the huge windows though. The homeowner was very responsive and we had extra assistance from a neighbor. The oven was not working so a good thing I don't cook much while on vacation!

I had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful home for 10 nights in February of 2021. The home is absolutely beautiful and the owner was fabulous to work work with in terms of answering questions and making suggestions. The home is completely private, sitting at the apex of a hillside - overlooking the jungle with the Pacific in the far distance - sunsets were spectacular. If you like solitude and quiet (with just the sounds of the jungle), this is the place for you. It's awesome and the owner was incredibly easy to work with and responsive to answering questions. It's a 10!

This home is absolutely stunning in a completely private, secure, secluded location only 12 minutes drive to Tamarindo, a laid-back, fun and beautiful beach town. It is a high end private villa nestled in a Costa Rican jungle of treetops, wildlife, and sunrises/sunsets. This is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of your life and make timeless memories - my 6 year old saw monkeys in the trees at sunrise and was ecstatic to jump in the pool anytime she wanted throughout the day. The pool is a fabulous amenity, complete with pool floats and games at the house. Decor is modern, clean and stylish. One minor consideration is the windows, which are large and offer great natural light, but in the high season when we were there let in a lot of heat and sunlight in the late afternoon. Julie is a welcoming and gracious host; she is very accessible and went above and beyond to provide recommendations about area grocery, bank, beaches, restaurants and even helped us make a reservation at the Black Stallion Ranch before our arrival. It really was a plus to be on the Ranch, which you should research before you go. Alex and Fabio made us feel right at home with a great day of BBQ, ziplining and horseback riding and helping us set up other tour experiences in Costa Rica during our trip. This property won't disappoint for the full Pura Vida experience!

This is a fantastic super private location with Fabulous views It is not suitable for the infirm or handicapped because of the stairs but a very clean and like brand new accommodation. Julie was fantastic!
