Oud hotel met nog enigzins de uitstraling van weleer. Als je goed rond lijkt zie je dit nog steeds. Bijv de grote zaal is prachtig maar meestal voor de bezoeker niet te zien. Het ontbijt heeft erg wei of keus en de bezetting met personeel was minimaal

The property is under renovation so it’s wrapped in scaffolding and canvassing. There is a mandatory $40 valet charge for them to park my car 30feet from where I got out… $50 charge for me to check-in early, even though the room was ready, so instead of achieving a higher arrival score, they’d rather make a quick buck. …and on the ‘making a quick buck tangent…. There is a mandatory $30 destination fee. This is charged because…. I don’t know why… it gave us two bottles of water and a room credit of $15 if we charged something to the room. So before we had checked in…. Nearly $100 in extra charges. The renovations are nice, but not well done. ALL the shower taps are installed with the hot as cold and the cold as hot. What a dumb thing to do. So after two cold showers and much complaining that there is no cold water, the engineer explain that the taps at reverse. Also the water boiler is 7 floors below us and that we need to run the hot water for about 10min before the hot water makes an appearance. Overall, as bleh experience

Don’t get me wrong, the renovations and property is very nice. Although, we arrived to our room and wanted to shower, but could not because the water was barely dripping out of the shower head. After paying 430 dollars for a one night stay, I expect the shower to work. Not only did the shower not work, but we had to park our own car at valet because no one was assisting us, and we still had to give up our keys that ended up in the pile of keys on top of the desk. After all of this, I went up to the guy at the check in desk inside of the hotel and all he said was “thank you for letting me know.” I called the hotel and explained my inconveniences and they were only able to refund me my destination fee of 30 dollars. The hotel was very nice but the service and convenience was not up to par.

The room was beautiful, but I woke up the first morning to find there was no hot water. Despite reporting the issue when I left the hotel that morning, I had to take cold showers the following two mornings. How can a lack of hot water go unresolved for three straight days?

Great historic classic property in downtown Tampa. Stayed a night to attend the Madonna concert. A 15 minute straight walk to Amelia. Non valet parking a challenge to find. Valet $40 24 hrs. Would definitely stay her again.

The hotel was recently renovated, and looks great. The staff was very nice and the location was great. Unfortunately, we had no hot water in the shower. The sheets on the bed were clean, but very itchy and scratchy so we didn’t get a great nights sleep. Besides from that it was a nice stay

The hotel is nice yes they are renovating but it's not a problem. There are a lot of homeless people around the outside of the building. I got asked for money 3 times. Annoying. I used to be homeless if you want to get out and do better you can. It's a choice!!!!

Everything was great here! I loved my room which was freshly renovated. The hotel was a walkable distance from my destination, which was super convenient. The historic nature of the hotel was super unique, albeit a little difficult for accessibility at times. Some of the hallways were narrow and corners were tight, and might not fit a wheelchair if you have a larger one. Staff was all wonderful and helpful. Highly recommend!

This hotel had a lot of potential. However it was under construction which made getting into and out of the building with luggage near impossible. Expect a long wait for a valet. The property is near a homeless encampment. The elevators do not consistently work so expect a long wait for them as well. Our room also had a leak making our carpet wet. Dining at The Dan onsite requires appropriate dress. There is a really good Dominos near by. It’s not a super family focused hotel.

The hotel exterior was under construction so the signage was not good. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The hotel itself is very nice. Our room was nice with a great bed though considerably smaller than we expected based on the pictures we saw when we booked. At one point there was only one elevator working. Overall it wasn't too bad but it's unlikely that we will stay there again based on price.

Only one working elevator, so very slow. No hot water for shower. Couldn’t figure out how to get heat on, freezing outside. called front desk no one to help. But the nicest and most comfortable room I’ve ever stayed in.

I liked everything feom the tine of stepping out ofmycar for valet service to the day i left everyone was nothing but nice and professional. They were wikking t help with any and everything i had a quesrion about. I'm definitely looking to go back for a longer stay. Its definitely worth the money. The rooms were very spacious and clean and i didnt have to call room service for any towels/rags or soap. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were so soft that it made your head sink into it. I love this hotel and i will definitely be going back possibly for my wedding.

We had a nice stay. The location was great. Staff was very friendly, the room was clean. My two complaints would be the hot water in the shower was luke warm and in the middle of the shower the water completely shut off. Frustrating.

This hotel is under renovation, but I was pleasantly surprised by the looks and charm on how the rooms looked ! The bed was nice clean and comfortable, lots of space to move around, The bathroom is a little small but the room itself made up for that, So would definitely book this hotel again 😉

Our room was very spacious and clean however there was construction going on during our stay which we were not informed of when booked. Scaffolding and dirt covered the outside of the windows. Also the bathtub was clogged so when you had a shower the tub filled up very quickly before you were done. The following day all but one elevator was operational so with everyone checking out it was a very long wait.

Hotel Worthy of stars!
Overall the hotel was perfect from the time we arrived to the time we left. Valet attendees, the front desk host/hostess & dining room servers were awesome.The beds were very comfortable & the room was immaculate. The breakfast could have been warmer. The waffles & toast were the only items hot because you can make them yourselves! But overall the hotel is worthy of great reviews! And was less than five minutes from our event!
