'We had such a wonderful stay at Poppy's Barn. The property was exactly what we were looking for - beautiful setting, very comfortable, quiet & welcoming. My daughter spent ages enjoying the grounds, building special places for the fairies to visit. The host was absolutely lovely - I hope we are able to stay here again someday. Highly recommend!'

'With the exception of a couple of niggles the property was excellent. It was clean & well provided. The journey through the lanes to the property was not the best if youre not used narrow lanes but they were so quiet chances of meeting other vehicles was rare. The grounds were well maintained and the area was what could only be described as divine. Countryside all around and the views were breathtaking. All in all a great place to stay.'

'Gym basic - just home kit really - but better than most hotel gyms despite that, and the pool was swimmable in early March despite not been up to the temp the owners aim for (but don't expect until April). Lovely property and location, was there for work but would return for holiday!'

'Absolutely perfect. Instructions are very clear , place was pristine . I was surprised at the size of the property as I thought it would be smaller . Good size bedroom,kitchen, living space and even the bathrooms was good with a rainfall shower and normal wand (I’m 6ft4 so that makes a difference ) very handy and detailed handbook helping you with any questions or queries. Communication was excellent from the host. Really pleased with my overall experience '

'This property has a real homely feel and makes you feel relaxed straight away. We were staying primarily to attend a family wedding but the house enabled us plenty of space to spread out relax and have a nice weekend break too. The beds were extremely comfy and the house was spotlessly clean. We would love to return at some stage. The hosts were friendly and helpful to show us around when we arrived, even down to having the log burner lit and welcoming!'

'Verblijf van vier nachten hebben we er twee gehad met veel geluidsoverlast in het hotel zelf. Hebben niets het idee dat hier goed op gereageerd werd door personeel. ( idee is dat het Engelse waren) Bij vertrek werd ons niet gevraagd of we een aangenaam verblijf hadden gehad. Vonden we toch wat minder gastvrij. '
