'Every bedroom, gathering space, and lounging area throughout the house (inside and out) is comfortably appointed and thoughtfully designed. The staff of the house are warm, inviting, and exceptionally professional. We loved the location along the water - close access for beach walks and shopping, yet plenty of quiet and privacy while still steps away from activity. Forodhani House is a very special place and our group was honored by our experience!'

'The hotel is beautiful, has a lovely pool but it is far away in farmer’s field and very difficult to find. Google maps sent me in the wrong direction. There should be signs and clear instructions on how to get here. It’s easy if you take the right road from the main highway. Staff is friendly and helpful. '

'Quiet and serene location. A stroll on the beach was very therapeutic. The team at the Villa reached out to us while we were still enroute, very reassuring indeed. The restaurant with in the premises was responsive to our requests. The stay was enjoyable and the location very convenient for us.'

'We had a lovely 9 day stay at the one way house. The house is simply stunning and very well maintained and clean. Michael- the chef- made us beautiful breakfasts and dinners. It’s impossible to choose a favorite dish but his curries are world class and biryani a MUST have. Paul helped us navigate Lamu. He is the man about about town.
